User :   when i woke up today morning both my upper and lower lips were swolen

User :   size of the lips have grown large. both of them

User :   not right now. but when i when to sleep there was nothing. but around 4.30 when i woke up only my upper part of the lip was swolen and by the time 9.30 when i again woke up my lower lip was swolen
User :   but at 4.30 it was seeming that my lower lip would also get swolen

Doctor :   Sudden onset swelling of the lips can occur due to 2 common reason.
Doctor :   1. A sign of Hypersenstivity reaction described as angiooedema.
Doctor :   2. Infection.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Since you didn't have any pain and your symptom is better now, its probably the first one that is the cause.
Doctor :   And again as your symptoms are reducing, you presently don't need any medical help.
Doctor :   However
User :   i think there is communication gap
User :   i said last night when i slept none of the lips were swolen and by the time i woke up both the lips where swolen (Size of the lip increase)

Doctor :   Do you feel that the swelling is increasing since you noticed it?
User :   yes. first i noticed it morning 4.30 am and it has increase when i woke up again at 9.30 am

Doctor :   In that case you will need local antihistamines.
Doctor :   Let me suggest you the medications.
User :   ok. for info, i have sulfa drug allergy
Doctor :   1. Use tablet benadryl one tablet now and later at night for today.
Doctor :   This medication can cause little drowsiness as a side effect.
Doctor :   Watch this out.
User :   ok
Doctor :   2. Watch out for any cosmetics that has triggered this symptoms, if any stop using them.
Doctor :   3. The swelling is expected to normalise soon (in few 3-6hours)

Doctor :   if its increasing, you will need more topical creams/steroid medication , and hence
Doctor :   if the swelling is increasing, or if you notice that there is discomfort while breathing see a doctor immediately.

Doctor :   4. Since, I am unable to perform a physical examination, i am unable to predict if there is any sign of infection, hence also look out for symptoms such as pain, skin peeling.
Doctor :   If they are seen, that can indicate inflammation?infection.
Doctor :   You will need antibiotics then.
Doctor :   Hence again, if such symptoms occur see a doctor.
Doctor :   5. Finally, you can use multivitamin pills a day for the next 15 days.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?

User :   ya. Take table benadrly each in morning and night for today. Even after that sweling increases show a doctor
User :   if you can please suggest multivitamin pills name which i should have ?/
Doctor :   You can use Cap Recovit/Bplex forte/Becousules.
Doctor :   you can use one of these based on the availability.
