User :   all day!
Doctor :   nay other symptoms like walking difficuty ?

Doctor :   and can you mention how long have u had this ?
User :   3 years
Doctor :   any visual disturbances ?
User :   no
Doctor :   do u have any blackouts ? or any change in consciousness ?
User :   no blackouts.
User :   what does change in conciousness mean?
Doctor :   like drowsiness , ?
User :   no
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   In that case , you dont have any major neurological issues
Doctor :   the cause could be electrolyte imbalances of potassium or sodium or calcium
Doctor :   a few blood tests to check for any abnormality will help
User :   why does the weakness change from one side of my body to the other on different days?
Doctor :   generalised weakness due to electrolyte imbalance can affect any part of the body, in any way
Doctor :   but organic lesions like MS or stroke will not change sites within days
User :   ok
User :   i suffer from anxiety and im not coping well
Doctor :   organic lesions , in the sense are anatomic abnormality
Doctor :   ok,
Doctor :   there is nothing to be anxious about
Doctor :   at the age of 24, there are not many serious conditions that can cause any serious issues anyway
User :   i always get scared that im having a stroke
Doctor :   your symptoms are very benign and not a matter of concern
Doctor :   stroke is not seen in the young age, unless you have a blood disorder, high cholesterol etc
User :   so i can still carry on doing day to day activities without worrying?
Doctor :   yes definitely
Doctor :   no doubt about that
User :   this may sound like a strange question but i cant still do have exercise and have sex etc..??
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   you can do all routine daily actvitites
User :   ok
Doctor :   there is no need to change any aspect of your life
User :   it just that my body feels so strange with this one sided weakness
Doctor :   that is understandable, but such a weakness that changes sides does not have any anatomic or a physciological cause to be considered anything important to be concerned about
User :   ok thank you
User :   even though it happens everday?
Doctor :   you are most welcome
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   especially when it happens every day
Doctor :   as this indicates a functional element in the symptom
User :   ok
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with ?
User :   one more question..
User :   do you think my anxiety could be causing this or you think it is mostly what you suggested?
Doctor :   anxiety can increase the sensitivty of a symptom
Doctor :   but mostly this is a functional issue and this symptom could be felt in a increased severity by patients having anxiety
User :   ok.
Doctor :   I hope i have cleared any doubts that you may be having
User :   yes thank you. i was just concerned that this was life threatening
Doctor :   no this does not cause any danger to life
Doctor :   you are most welcome
User :   thank you so much
Doctor :   you are most welcome
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me here
User :   good bye
Doctor :   have a good night
Doctor :   bye for now
