User :   i wanted to know how long will it take to reduce the swelling on the face

Doctor :   Nephrotic syndrome may cause your kidneys to gradually lose their function over time well that is only seen in 10% case

Doctor :   Prompt treatment of medical conditions that can lead to nephrotic syndrome, will be the key in preventing the further occurrence

Doctor :   In Children is what i have been talking about it is some what lesser and the respond better to medications

Doctor :   Limit your salt intake to help minimize fluid retention and swelling and to reduce your blood pressure

Doctor :   vitamin D supplements will help after discussion with the doctor as to when to start them on it

Doctor :   Salt that is added for cooking will all that shall be needed and also try reducing teh salt even while cooking

Doctor :   reduce the Cholesterol and Triglycerides by restricting the Fats and Oily foods and that needs to be avoided till another 3 months till his parameters are near normal

User :   but since it is protein leakage, doctor say u have to give non veg
Doctor :   Well there are many things other than what you need to look at than just direct protein replacement

Doctor :   excess proteins will mean that there will be greater load on the already ailing kidney and liver
Doctor :   and hence this will also add greater work hence it shall be essential to keep it low to start with
