User :   I had a gastric band fitted just over 12 months ago

User :   and over the last... 5 months.. nearly everytime I eat, my abdomen swells so much I look 9months pregnant
User :   It's crampy, like a stitch
User :   And it causes near-constant oral gas, which eases the feeling/swelling a little
Doctor :   That could not be due to the banding
Doctor :   do you feel pain in the stomach ?
User :   It feels like I've pulled a muscle kind of pain
Doctor :   Is there any relation to the food ?
User :   Not as far as I've noticed... It seems to happen frequently, but not just with one specific food type
Doctor :   are the symptoms more in the early mornings / or there is any specific period of the day ?
User :   midday onwards...
Doctor :   o, it could probably be Acid peptic disorder

User :   After a few hours of forcing myself to belch etc, the swelling and uncomfortableness eases.

User :   So what can I do to ease it?
Doctor :   Take Tab PRILOSEC once every day early in the morning before breakfast for a week

Doctor :   also take a tea spoon of honey in a tumbler of warm water early in the morning after the tab
