Doctor:How long have you been suffering?
User:the pain is not continuous
User:i constanlty commute to work and drive around 50Km daily
User:so once in 3 to 4 days i get the pain
Doctor:Can you grade the severity of pain on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most severe pain you ever had in life)?
Doctor:How long have you been suffering?
User:the same thing is happening from the last six months or so
Doctor:Are you able to walk and perform normal functions during pain?
User:yes i can walk but there wil be bit of discomfort

User:no ido not have fever
User:no weight is normal
Doctor:Have you seen a doctor for this problem?
User:no I havent
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:The pain and the description seems to be related to mechanical reasons.
Doctor:Yes, most likely the travel is taking a toll on you.
Doctor:If you are unable to find a better job which requires less drive/smooth drive
Doctor:then I recommend that you start back strengthening exercise
Doctor:This will strengthen the back muscles to cope up with stress better.
User:thanks Doctor
Doctor:You have an option to learn and practice those exercise with a physiotherapist.
Doctor:Alternatively you can be able to find videos about these exercise on the web (youtube).
User:can you suggest any back strengthening
Doctor:I did not find any clear reason to investigate you now.
Doctor:However if the pain is very frequent and the severity of pain is increasing
Doctor:then you should see a doctor and get X-ray/MRI scans of the back along with basic blood test such as CBC, ESR done.
User:the only reason why I wanted an opinion was because of the frequency of back pain
User:earlier it was not so frequent with some rest it would be normal
User:but now i am facing it very regularly
Doctor:Back muscles are slow healers.
User:ok so wil try some muscle strengthening exercises
Doctor:It needs time and space to heal.
Doctor:However as I said earlier,
Doctor:if the pain severity is worsening
Doctor:It will be a good idea to visit a doctor who can examine for other spine related possibilities.
Doctor:X-ray and blood test as discussed earlier might be needed.
Doctor:Until you see the doctor,
Doctor:i suggest you try exercising back muscles.
Doctor:This link has few exercises that can be used.
Doctor:You can also look for videos on back strengthening exercise or back pain exercises and practice them.
Doctor:At this point
Doctor:if you feel more pain or discomfort with any of those exercises, please withdraw from it.
Doctor:With time, you might feel better.
Doctor:Have you followed what I suggested?
Doctor:You there?
