Doctor:Reason forever?
Doctor:Reason for fever?
Doctor:most of the time, fevers in this age are from a viral infection.
User:any antibiotic?
Doctor:antibiotics are given only if the fever does not reduce in 4-5 days. Antibiotics don't work on a virus so it's useless to give
Doctor:the babys own immune system will kill it
Doctor:if the fever lasts more than 4-5 days then it is more likely to be a bacterial
Doctor:then we will start abx
Doctor:Take care.
