User:Hi Doctor
User:My son who is 6 years old had fever and dry cough from 5 days
User:treatment given was paracetamol with Phexin and Servex cough syrup
User:No fever from yesterday
User:however, he is very tired, unable to eat anything and complaining for throat pain
User:today, noticed rashes on his ears and legs
User:Is it measles by anychance
User:what should be the treatment ?
Doctor:Can you describe the rashes?
User:His ears are red and small mustard size on his legs
User:put not so bad like pimples
Doctor:Have you seen a doctor?
User:I had visited him 2 days back for the fever and cough and the above treatment was given
Doctor:Is he still on Phexin syrup?
User:diagnoised as Viral fever
User:No it was for 3 days and it is completed
Doctor:Let me brief you.
User:He is only on the cough syrup
Doctor:The rashes that you describe sounds like a viral rash. However without a physical examination I will not be able to predict whether this is related to measles/chicken pox or any other specific viral infection.
User:Oh ok
Doctor:Since the fever has reduced, it seems like he is improved, but I will insist that you take him back to the doctor
User:ok done
Doctor:Is there any other question that i can help you with?
User:But, my doctor is available only in the evening
User:anything that I should treat or do before taking him to the doctor
Doctor:Do not be worried. This isn't an emergency condition where instant treatment is necessary. You can take him to the doctor in the evening.
Doctor:In the meanwhile prevent your son from scratching / handling those rashes.
Doctor:Keep the area clean and dry.
Doctor:No other specific instructions besides those two.
User:Thanks a lot
Doctor:Do you have any more queries?
User:Nothing as of now, thank you again for making me feel better
Doctor:Thanks for visiting me here. Bye for now.
