User:she is a diabetic and have 350 sugar level
User:she takes triglycomate light 1 tablet /day
User:now we are giving her vozet and mit's linctus cough syrup

Doctor:Since when is she having this cough?
User:around 4 days now
Doctor:Is it a dry cough or is she producing enough sputum with it?
User:no dry cough
User:and also having some asthamatic problem
Doctor:Is she running fever?
User:yes a bit
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Her sugar is definitely high; however it may or may not be contributing to her symptoms.
Doctor:It seems to be an allergic cough or a viral condition which has no specific treatment.
Doctor:Viral condition will run its course before resolving.
Doctor:That may take 2-3 weeks time.
Doctor:If it is from allergy related, then perhaps adding bronchodilator will be helpful.
Doctor:Has she seen a doctor here?
User:no not here
User:but at our hometown in XXXXXXX
User:she was diagonosed with bricanyl
User:but we are not getting it here
User:any substitute can you refer?
User:just to ease out the coughing a bit
Doctor:I would suggest that she consults a doctor who can examine her. Specific treatment can be suggested based on the signs found on chest examination.
Doctor:As per my knowledge, bricanyl contains terbutaline. It's an ingredient present in ascoril syrup.
User:so should we consult any specialist or general physician will do?
Doctor:This drug is more of a mucolytic then bronchodilator.
Doctor:Hence before you take it, I suggest you see a doctor.
Doctor:You can visit a physician and get her treated.
Doctor:Have you followed?
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:i will take her to a near by physician
