Doctor:Hello are you there
User:I have a kid of 3.5 years
User:he is suffering from constipation
User:he does not eat properly most of the time he is not hungry.
User:what should I do ?
Doctor:What is his weight
User:15 Kg
User:is it ok?
Doctor:It seems to be low
Doctor:How was his growth chart?
Doctor:Did the pediatrician mark on it?
User:I am regularly taking him to his pediatrician....Infact yesterday also we went..he took his weight but he did not raise any concern

User:it seems to be very low in this case

User:yes i did n he repeated the same medication which he did earlier as well
User:bcos he has history of constipation problem
User:he did not give anything to increase his appetite

User:but does these stimulants also help in constipation

User:no but i dont give him processed food....If u want I wud share his daily diet as well

User:Cremaffim for constipation he asked me to give him for 15 days atleast n also soberline(not sure abt spelling) for again 15 days

User:cheese yes i do bt no juice

Doctor:Cheeze is extremely processed
Doctor:which does not add to the bulk of food and hence constipated
User:apples he is eating daily, dal/sabzi with 1 roti daily for dinner and parantha with cheese in lunch
User:n also chocos with milk or egg with bread in breakfast

Doctor:Is he playing well with other children I mean outdoor
Doctor:or stays home with in door play and TV
User:yes he is an very active child, loves to go out n play with children and also njoys going to school
Doctor:How many times he passes stool per week
User:that too very hard
User:yeah he asks for it but not much
Doctor:I think you should concentrate on his water intake
Doctor:At leaast to 2 to 3 full glasses per day or 10 times a day
Doctor:Does anyone in the family has constipation?
User:ohk....will increase in water in take shud help...or shud i also change his diet?
User:yes his grandmother has and sometimes his father also
User:though i have perfect stomach hardly had any constipation issue

Doctor:But you should do whatever it takes to improve greens in the diet, pulses
Doctor:and water
Doctor:Restrict processed food chocolates, biscuit
User:ok doc ...I will take care of it...but before that i wud appreciate If you could suggest smthg to improve his appetite
