User:hi doctor
User:good morning
User:Day before yesterday, i kept the window open
User:because of that around 4 am, i felt cold
User:and burning throat
User:now cold and burning throat are gone
User:but during the same time, like around 4 am
User:i feel difficulty in breathing
User:and it remains for around 2 hours
User:i make a whistling sound while breathing
User:If i cough in between
User:next 2-3 breathe will be normal
User:and then again same whistling sound
User:its happening from last 2 days
User:around 6 am things will become fine again
User:my wife complains about snoring also some times
User:i think thats all from my side
Doctor:How often you feel burning sensation in throat?
User:not always
Doctor:Still are you having difficulty in breathing?
User:even today i had the problem
User:yesterday i got infected with cold
Doctor:Do you have any gastric problems?
User:i do get acidity if i eat lot of oily food
Doctor:Are you having cold currently?
User:but then i dont eat, and so i get this problem very rarely
User:yeah slight cold is still left
User:like i cough some times
User:sneezing is not there
User:and no throat burning
User:i drank warm water with salt during night
User:which helped me in recuperating faster

Doctor:One some times throat burning during sleep suggest due to acid reflux
Doctor:Mostly it is followed by heavy food and oily food as you said

User:if it is too much, i take eno

User:at least i do not feel any kind of discomfort
Doctor:When you lie down acid flow back wards to food pipe and throat gives burning sensation

Doctor:Other possibility of snoring or whistling suggest you have some difficulty in breathing problem It suggest you may have allergy or nasal congestion due to cold
User:are there any exercise or lifestyle changes which can improve the second symptom
Doctor:I suggest you steam inhalation before bed
Doctor:It opens your airway
Doctor:I also suggest you cetrizine 5 mg for cold
Doctor:Take this tablet before bed
User:actually i do not want to take tablet right now
User:if the problem persist for another couple of days, i will take it
Doctor:Then I suggest you nasal saline drops instil 2 drops in each nostril and take steam inhaltion
Doctor:It improves nasal congestion
Doctor:Avoid food 2 hours before bed
Doctor:Avoid heavy food before bed
User:drops to be put before going to bed
Doctor:I suggest you antacids if you wants to take tablet other wise you should maintain your diet to reduce acidity problem
User:i will keep my diet in check

Doctor:If you will have problem then I will go for medication
User:any exercise doctor
User:may be like yoga/pranayama
Doctor:I suggset you pranayamam

User:i am doing deep breathing in morning from last couple of weeks
User:i also try anulom/vilom but generally one of the nostril remains closed
User:but i at least do 30 deep breathe in morning
Doctor:Do you have history of deviated nasal septum?
User:what is that
Doctor:ok it is called when nasal bone deviated to other side
User:dont knw
Doctor:Ok nothing to worry
User:but i dont think, because no doctor till now pointed towards this side
Doctor:No issues I just asked to know your history
Doctor:Do your pranayamam before bed as well
