User:I am married and have been having sex with only one partner for more than a year.
User:we have always used condoms while having intercourse
User:and we would like to stop using it to start having children
User:before that I would like to get some tests done to be sure I am not transmitting any diseases to her
User:is there anything in particular we need to do?
Doctor:If you have not had any unprotected sexual intercourse in the past, then chances of sexually transmitted infection is less likely.
User:i know there is the Elisa test for HIV. But what about other STDs and UTIs?
Doctor:But if you are very concerned, then you can check for HIV, Hbsag and herpes.
Doctor:I don't recommend any other tests.
User:hbsag? what is that?
User:are these all blood tests?
Doctor:Tests for hepatitis.
