User:Good evening
User:I am suffering from back pain since 3 days
User:what should i do now
Doctor:I need to know a few things to guide you better.
Doctor:Where exactly on the back do you have pain?
User:spinal cord
Doctor:I mean the lower back, upper back, or near to anal region?
Doctor:Did you have this pain previously?
User:Upper back
User:i used to get sometimes before but since many days i dont have a pain
Doctor:Upper back in the sense, in between the shoulder blades?
Doctor:Did you have any fall or trauma?
User:below the neck
Doctor:Are you having a work where you have to sit for long?
Doctor:Do you take frequent breaks in between the work? At least once in one hour?
User:like 8 to 10 hours a day
Doctor:Do you get relief in pain when you wake up in the morning?
User:actually i am getting pain when i am sitting in office chair
User:mostly i wont get pain when i go home
Doctor:let me now guide you regarding this problem.
Doctor:As you would have noted, this may be mostly related to the stress caused on the neck muscles.
Doctor:That is mainly due to the posture.
Doctor:You can do the following to get relief.
Doctor:1. Apply hot compression the back of neck.
Doctor:2. Apply pain relieving gel such as Volini/ Moov.
Doctor:3. Pain killer such as Tab. Dolo 650mg twice daily for 3-5 days.
Doctor:That is if you are not allergic to Paracetamol.
Doctor:4. Use a moderate thickness Pillow while sleeping. ( Not too thick or too thin)
Doctor:5. Do regular Exercise for neck.
Doctor:You can find them by googling.
Doctor:6. Maintain a good posture at office.
Doctor:If you are having difficulty in using the chair you have now, then please do request for a change of the chair.
Doctor:The computer screen should be just slightly below your eye level.
Doctor:7. Do stretching of neck every 30 minutes in between the work.
Doctor:8. Take a break for 5 minutes after each hour of work.
Doctor:Move away from your seat during that 5 minutes.
Doctor:If you do the above, you should be fine and will not get the pain again.
