User :   im so scared its als
Doctor :   any cramps and sudden weakness , loss of bowel and bladdert control ?
User :   nope
Doctor :   you need not worry at all
Doctor :   this is not ALS
User :   do you think it could be BFS?
User :   or just a combination of anxiety and meds?
Doctor :   This is not of any pathologic significance at all
User :   ok I know it is rare, im 24 but know it is possible
Doctor :   is there any atrophy of your limbs ?
User :   what does that mean lol?
User :   sorry?
Doctor :   i mean does ur legs seem thin and non muscular ?
User :   no not at all
Doctor :   including thighs?
User :   i have the same amount of muscle as i did
User :   yes and thighs
Doctor :   in that case, you dont have any muscle and neurologic involvement
User :   i wonder what the twitches are then
Doctor :   hence no ALS or BFS
User :   they are in the back of my arm, calfs, back, thumbs
User :   kind of everywhere
User :   its weird, very annoying
Doctor :   USUALLY WHEN ANXIOUS or tensed, you han have muscle groups contracting independently
User :   i am very tense
Doctor :   this is callled fasciculations
User :   but doc, they happen a lot when my body is resting
Doctor :   and are very normal physiologically
User :   so all in my head lol
Doctor :   yes, they occur only at rest,
User :   ahhhhh
Doctor :   and not while activity
User :   so i need to stop thinking about them
User :   and in time they will do away?
Doctor :   so there is nothing to be worried about
Doctor :   yes , they will reduce over time
User :   well thank you
Doctor :   even if they persist to come any time u need not be worried at all
User :   ok thats makes me feel so much better
Doctor :   as more u r conscious about that, more u will be worried that it might be something seriously wrong
User :   i konw
User :   know
User :   i just keep thinking about it and it makes things worse
Doctor :   so just relax and enjoy ur life
