User :   I am suffering from chronic pancreatitis with diabetes and alcoholic hepatitis, due to excessive drinking for many years.
Now I am totally abstaining from alcohol. But almost everyday i get either pancreatitis pain or a gastric pain or liver pain in the right lower side of the abdomen. The only medicine that helps is Spasmo-Proxyvon, but the problem is it contains paracetamol. My doctor says that even if I take paracetamol within the limit of 2 gms / day, it will be harmful for the liver.
Is it the same for ibuprufen and etodolac ?? is there an Indian brand which has dextroproxyphene and dicyclomine but not paracetamol ?? If an opiod analgesic has ibuprofen or etodolac can I take it ??
