Doctor:My recommendations would be as follows:
Doctor:Take an anti-allergic like avil tb
Doctor:Sinarest has some ingredients that you do not need
User:what abt azithromycin?
Doctor:Secondly take antibiotics only if prescribed for the episode as they may have side-effects
Doctor:most tonsils get better with passing years
Doctor:Take avil preferably before going to bed
Doctor:as it may cause drowsiness
Doctor:Third thing is that we need to avoid recurrent allergies
User:please tell something which i can do at home to ease the pain
User:yeah should i go for tonsils operation?
Doctor:You mean you have pain in throat?
Doctor:Do you also have difficulty breathiong?
User:yes it itches if i breath through mouth
Doctor:For the time being you can take a pain-killer like brufen or naproxen
User:n i have to as because of cold i am not able to breath through nose
Doctor:You may try saline gargles with clean water
Doctor:Also drink clean drinking water with minimum TDS values as people who are allergic may also have allergies to chemicals in water
User:ok boiled should be fine?
Doctor:Only reverse osmosis technique is able to filter out chemicals
Doctor:Do not go for mineral water
User:but i am not able to do that at home
Doctor:You may check at reputed stores
Doctor:Also try vitamins like zincovit
User:i want to get rid of this prob....even if i eat ice cream or drink cold water it happens
Doctor:For breathing difficulty you may need bronchodilator inhaler
Doctor:It is because of sensitivity
User:shall i go for tonsils operation
Doctor:You may if you have breathing difficulty because of enlarged tonsils
Doctor:Or if you get many episodes of tonsillitis in 3 months period
User:when i was young doc said no nedd of operation
Doctor:I have not seen the severity of tonsils
Doctor:But I think your most problems are because of allergy
User:but everytime either because of weather change or dust or cold drinks i get this
Doctor:These are called as triggers
Doctor:You need to avoid triggers
User:what abt azithromycin?
Doctor:Also avoid antibiotics in allergies
Doctor:Azithromycin itself can cause sensitivities and dry cough
User:oh ok
User:so alvi is ok?
User:once a day or twice?
Doctor:Avil is meant for allergies only
Doctor:It helps control the excessive secretions until the episode goes away
Doctor:You can take it only if excessive secretions present
Doctor:two times is the dose though
Doctor:Preferably take it before sleeping
Doctor:As it may cause drowsiness
User:yeah i need some sleep i was up whole night\
Doctor:Cetrizine is the non-drowsy alternative
User:beacuse of cetrizine i get red spots on my skin
Doctor:Also consider getting a prescription of bronchodilator inhaler for difficulty breathing
User:so my doc suggested sinarest as alternative for that
Doctor:and keep it handy
Doctor:Sinarest has multiple components
Doctor:It does have antiallergic component though
Doctor:Also try getting tested for immunoglobulin levels in blood
Doctor:It will give a better idea about diagnosis
Doctor:I think that you may have an idea about how to control allergies
Doctor:Let me know if you have any question
User:no thanks for ur help
Doctor:Also try seeing a pulmonologist
Doctor:ok then
Doctor:Take care
