User :   Symptoms: low severe back pain, anal/rectal pressure, pain in lower left quandrant of stomach area, burning through vagina/bladder area. Had MRI on back :okay. Just had pap smear and exam: okay
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Let me read your query
Doctor :   What is your age and marital status
Doctor :   Can you line out the sequence of events that had happened in ascending order
User :   50 and am married
User :   I felt like I ahd a vaginal infection, have a history. Then I thought possible bladder infection. Chronic backache for quite a while. Did have vaginal infection but not now.
Doctor :   Good to know about MRI and Pap tests were normal
User :   Now have anal/rectal pressure. I do have IBS and have gone from loose stools to constipation.
Doctor :   How was yoru menstrual history?
User :   Chronic bleeding. I am on prometrium to try and slow it down. Still have menstral periods regularly. I have history of vaginal skin problems with burning and itching.
User :   Did have kidney stone last year with stone still showed in my left kidney after CT scan
User :   Can fissure cause pressure?
Doctor :   Fissure can cause pressure
Doctor :   What is the size of the stone?
Doctor :   Was stool examination, per rectal examination done?
User :   Can fissures cause pain and itching? I can't remember size of stone but when I told my sister who is a nurse she said it was fairly good sized.
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   Fissure can cause pain and itching
Doctor :   esp chr fissures
User :   I am to do a stool exam but have not felt good enough to get it done. I am so chronically fatigued and aslo have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
User :   No visible bleeding in stools.
Doctor :   I would be evaluating in terms of rectal causes, chronic fissure first
Doctor :   Treat them first as they are simple
User :   Do you usually see bleeding with anal cancer?
Doctor :   So I would do a anoscopy, sigmoid colonoscopy
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :   and also obstruction is seen, no stools at all
User :   Huh?
User :   What do you mean by no stools at all?
Doctor :   If there is anal cancer, there would be pain first, followed by blood in the stool
Doctor :   and then slowly it obstructs the passage
User :   okay
Doctor :   hence no stools
User :   Have had stools, just more constipation. Doesn't really hurt when I pass stools it is after when there is mainly pressure. Constant pressure around the low back, tailbone, rectum, etc.
Doctor :   As said, at this point, I would do the following
Doctor :   Stool microscopy, per rectal exam and if necessary anoscopy
User :   One more question: Can a kidneys tone in the kidney cause blood in the urine and pain. I was told it can cause blood but not pain.
Doctor :   It can cause both blood and pain
User :   Thank you
Doctor :   Blood in the urine and pain during urination
Doctor :   The pain is usually from the lower back referred to the groin
Doctor :   and it is spasmodic
Doctor :   But your pain is mainly left lower quad of the abdomen
Doctor :   hence the chance can be listed bottom
