User :   since about 2pm today i've had some pretty strong chest pains
User :   mainly when i breathe in deep or move
User :   the pains are sharp and stabbing, but subside somewhat when i don't move or breathe deeply

User :   that's the strange part, the only symptom i seem to have is the chest pain
User :   it had subsided a bit earlier, but over the last few hours its become a bit more intense

User :   no, i feel like i'm breathing just fine

User :   i drank last night, was fairly intoxicated
User :   onset of pain was quite sudden, around 2pm today
User :   i was sitting at a friends house when i suddenly felt a sharp pain in my solarplexis
User :   it somewhat subsided after a bit and i continued about my day
User :   however, when i would breathe in deep, i'd get a sharp stabbing pain in the region around my solarplexis
User :   if i twist my torso or move suddenly, the same sharp stabbing pain is there

User :   i'd say throbbing
User :   somewhat tightening as well
User :   stabbing, sharp
User :   quite uncomfortable
Doctor :   SO you mean there is increase when you take deep breath
User :   yes
User :   when i don't breathe deep the pain is minimal
Doctor :   What did yoiu do to decrease the pain
Doctor :   have you taken any medication
User :   about 30 minutes ago i took 10mg of hydrocodone
User :   oh
User :   and i've been taking mefloquine
User :   i was thinking it could have been a side effect of the mefloquine
User :   i seem to be reacting quite bad to it -- lots of nightmares, trouble sleeping, and confusion
Doctor :   YEs mefloquin is an antimalarial so it has some sideeffects
Doctor :   do yoiu have headahce

User :   no i haven't had a headache
