Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How can I help you?
User :   hi..
User :   my baby is 45 days old..
User :   his urine is sticky..
User :   color is normal
Doctor :   Ok
User :   i would see doctor tomorrow evening... is there anything of immediate concern?
Doctor :   What exactly do you mean by urine is sticky?
User :   it was on my mother-in-law's fingers.. and she could feel that fingers got stuck..
Doctor :   Is your baby active?
User :   yes..
Doctor :   Is there any problem with feeding?
User :   lots of hand/leg movements..
User :   no problem in feeding.. only mother's milk
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Is he/she crying while passing urine?
User :   cries occassionally during feeding..
User :   no crying during urine..
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Let me brief you.
Doctor :   As long as your kid is active, feeding well, and is urinating well without any problems, I do not foresee any problem that needs attention.
Doctor :   However, if you notice similar problems, an urine examination may be needed to determine the nature of the problem.
Doctor :   You can continue with the feeding and the usual care given.
Doctor :   Also check if the genitalias are clear, change the diaper if required.
User :   he passes urine every 3 hours on average...
User :   we change the diaper every time he does that..
User :   could you recommend some urine tests for this?
Doctor :   This is natural in kids.
Doctor :   Since I have not examined your kid, I cannot predict if a test would be needed.
Doctor :   However based on your description,
Doctor :   I wish that those test may not be needed.
Doctor :   The stickiness of the urine probably may have occurred after the urine was exposed to any kind of material externally.
Doctor :   If you notice any crying while passing urine, reduced urination,
Doctor :   reduced feeding habits or reduce activity of the child,
Doctor :   you may need to see a doctor immediately.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   yes... but i was hoping for any urine test recommendation.. so that i can take the results to the doctor when i see him tomorrow evening..
Doctor :   I do not wish you perform these test without an examination.
Doctor :   Hence you can get those tests only if suggested after a physical examination.
User :   k.. last question.. can urine examination suggest any kind of kidney infection or diabetes.. this is general question not exactly pertaining to this case
Doctor :   General urine tests can help in diagnosis of urine infection and can determine the sugar status(diabetic state) indirectly.
User :   k.. thnx..
User :   good night..
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   no
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor :   Bye for now
