Doctor :   hi
User :   I received my period 3-4 weeks ago and was expecting my period. I thought i was getting my period but then it turned out to be spotting. My concern is that the "blood" contain a strong odor. Today there wasn't any bleeding but the smell is still there. The smell is embarrassing and strong beyond imaginable. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do you have any discharge apart from blood spot?
User :   no
Doctor :   do you have any itching or irritation in the vaginal area?
User :   no
Doctor :   ok
User :   completely normal, just that i haven't received my period, it was just spotting, and the SMELL is strong and first time ever
Doctor :   it appears to be a normal phenomenon from the history you are giving
Doctor :   did you have any sexual encounter?
User :   i am sexually active
Doctor :   your age?
User :   but i've been with the same partner and have been using unprotected sex,
User :   23
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   the strong odour that you are telling could be due to a simple infection
Doctor :   you need an examination from your gyneacologist
User :   could it possibly a miscarriage?
Doctor :   then a suitable treatment regimen wil be prescribed
User :   thank you sooo much
User :   i must get an examination from a gyne....but it must be referred by a family dr right?
Doctor :   considering that you had your last periods normally its highly unlikely to be that
Doctor :   it mostly is a simple infection for which you might be needing some anti biotics

Doctor :   yes you need a gyneacological check up
