User :   I'm 23 yr old female. The last day of my period was Tuesday Dec 29th. I had intercourse on the 31st and the 1st- unprotected. I am not on any birth control, I stopped using it October of 2008. I am currently trying to get pregnant- I am not suppose to start my next period until the 21st. My periods are regular- no major problems.
Why would I spot today and yesterday? I am not under a lot of stress, my eating habits are healthy and I workout 2-3 times a week (circuit training) and I work at a job where I'm always moving and on my feet.
I have pictures of what kind of spotting I had. Just yesterday was a pinkish fluid with light blood speckles and today was pinkish/blood strands..
Would this be a sign I'm possibly pregnant? I feel bloated, and my lower ab muscles are sore..

Doctor :   Let me read it
Doctor :   This could even be a spotting seen during ovulation

Doctor :
Havent you noticed it before?
User :   A few months ago I had dark blood spotting during ovulation, but none since then, I've had about 2 cycles with nothing in between.
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
It is normal to occur during ovulation
User :   I've also been dizzy, but have stayed fully hydrated
Doctor :
Sometimes it goes unnoticed
Doctor :
due to very minute bleed
User :   Oh, okay. So it's normal to have pinkish discharge for two days?
Doctor :
Yes, since it is almost a midcycle
Doctor :
You can expect it
Doctor :
Do you have any other discharge?
User :   Nope, just that.
Doctor :
How about fever?
User :   I had my last pap in Dec and it was perfectly normal. :-)
User :   I had a doctors appointment yesterday morning- just a check up for something, and my temp was 98. Nothing has changed since then.
Doctor :   Fine

Doctor :
I asked it just to think in line of infection
Doctor :
That rules that out
Doctor :
Now since it is just spotting
Doctor :
You need not worry much
User :   Okay. :-)
Doctor :
If it continues then you should head for a gynec examination
User :   It just kind of freaked me out.. I never usually spot, this would be the 2nd time its happened.
User :   Okay, I will continue to monitor that.
User :   Thank you for your help :-) I really appreciate it.
Doctor :   Is there any thing else I can help you with?

User :   I think that is it. I was just concerned that I may be pregnant, or something worse.
User :   Thank you again :-)
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic. Bye for now. Please refer your friends to our service.
