User :   Hello my name is I am 28 years old and I have been smoking since I was 14 almost 15 years old (will be 29 in july) (I have quit!) I started having difficulty with chest pain/irregular heart beat (pain went away after rest and gas ex) and also waking up in the morning and sometimes in the middle of the night COUGHING very heavily and finding it hard to take a breath in/out,I have now stopped smoking (4 days ago) I smoked about 2 packs a day for almost 10 years and about a pack a day for 3 years. What are my chances of having COPD or Emphysema? To add: I am having chest pain right now but I believe it's do to me not smoking/I am on the patch and gum both due to my high nicotine dependency level.
