Doctor :   hi
Doctor :
how can i help you
User :   hello
User :   I'm freaking out and need some answers
Doctor :
Doctor :
User :   I tried scheduling appointments with my doctors but they didn't have any availability until next week
User :   and I don't think I can wait that long
Doctor :
User :   I'm also supposed to travel tomorrow and not sure if I should...
User :   I basically have some questions for a gynecologist
User :   not sure if you can assist me
User :   didn't notice that there were more options...
Doctor :
Doctor :
you can proceed
User :   so, my last period was July 27
Doctor :   okay
User :   a bit lighter than usual but still lasted 3-4 days
User :   didn't notice anything out of the ordinary
User :   this weekend
User :   fri and sat
User :   i felt some minor cramping
User :   and felt like I was going to get my period, even though it was way too early for that
User :   according to my calculations, my next period is supposed to start August 24 or so
User :   I also felt this constant need to pee
User :   and I don't mean every 10 minutes but as soon as I was done
User :   I would have to go back to the restroom
Doctor :
is there itchying
Doctor :
Doctor :
User :   I still get that feeling but it's not as intense
User :   my body temperature was 98 today
User :   actually, this morning
User :   I haven't checked it since
User :   but the worst part happened this morning
User :   I was trying to go to the restroom
Doctor :
User :   and I noticed something 'pass through me'
User :   when I wiped there was only a slight, slight pink trace of blood--barely visible
User :   but there was a small gooey thing in the toilet
User :   probably about a 1/3 of an inch long and not very wide
User :   I'm just wondering what's going on...
User :   was it a miscarriage
User :   implantation bleeding?
Doctor :
was it bright red or brown
User :   It was something in between
User :   it wasn't bright red
User :   but not completely brown either
Doctor :
User :   also, I did not have to wipe or anything
User :   It just dropped in the toilet
User :   I'm sorry if this is too gross (I know it is for me)...
User :   I also tried to separate it but it was pretty solid
User :   had jello/silly putty consistency
Doctor :
okay it is a blood clot
User :   Again, I apologize for the layman terms...
Doctor :
your age
User :   29
User :   are you sure?
Doctor :
User :   why am I bleeding?
Doctor :   you said spotting rihgt
User :   no, not reallyl
User :   that was the only thing that happened
Doctor :   okay
User :   and when I wiped there was a slight pink stain on the toilet paper
User :   no spotting, no bleeding in between
User :   ...
Doctor :
User :   so you're absolutely sure it wasn't a miscarriage?
User :   could I be pregnant?
User :   is there anything else that could cause this?
Doctor :   no the chance is less
Doctor :
yes clots are formed due to many causes
User :   less for miscarriage or pregnancy?
User :   I've never experienced this...
User :   also, my stool was fairly dark this morning
Doctor :
but the dates are not co inciding
User :   with implantation bleeding?
Doctor :
it can be one of the cause but the chance is low
User :   what?
User :   I really need to know all my possibilities
User :   I wouldn't want to travel if there's something serious going on...
Doctor :
and as you have said it as not even crossed one missed period
User :   I would go straight to the emergency room
User :   No, if that was indeed my period (July 27)
User :   I usually have light periods and this was one of them
Doctor :
if it was pregnancy the growth will be more tiny
Doctor :
as it is not even two weeks after fertilisation
Doctor :
and less than a week of implantation
User :   ok, this thing was as big as the tip of my fingernail
User :   is that too big?
User :   what else could it be?
User :   ulcer?
User :   internal bleeding?
Doctor :   possible
User :   sorry, those were some of the things that popped up on google
Doctor :
did you try a pregnancy test
User :   possibility for ulcer or internal bleeding
User :   no, not yet
Doctor :
yes it can be
User :   they say that it's too early to tell
User :   I have 5 days till my period
User :   but I did order some just in case
User :   I should have them tomorrow
Doctor :
but in menses they clear most of the time by next period
User :   would it be too early to do a test?
Doctor :
if you suspect it you can try
User :   OK
User :   if that's not the case, what are some other possibilites...
Doctor :
if it is aborted then it can give a positive
Doctor :
User :   ok
User :   but if that is not the answer
User :   where did the blood clot come from?
User :   I just thought it was weird that you couldn't really separate it...
User :   it felt like it was 'encased'
User :   does that happen with blood clots?
Doctor :
it raely happens
Doctor :
with blood
Doctor :
due to the lysing action of the enzymes
Doctor :
and then drying
User :   sorry, I'm not getting it right
Doctor :
User :   you're saying that blood clots should have a more dry
User :   texture?
User :   or that they get 'slippery' because of enzymes?
Doctor :
one of the common thing as you suspect could be an pregnancy
Doctor :
and the next is a blood clot
User :   is such discharge common for pregnancy?
Doctor :
not common
User :   could that be implantation bleeding?
User :   again, it wasn't really bleeding
User :   or spotting
User :   what do you suggest?
User :   should I travel?
Doctor :   since further there was no bleeding
Doctor :
and if know bleeding is seen you can travel
User :   No, I'm wondering if that was a miscarriage in early stages??
User :   I've heard that with miscarriages there's a lot more bleeding involved
Doctor :
in such a early stage there is hardly any treatment required
Doctor :
Doctor :
it will be profuse
Doctor :
atlest for few minutes
User :   well, then what's going on?
User :   could it be pregnancy discharge?
Doctor :   it can be
User :   but, I've had no other pregnancy symptoms
User :   haven't noticed my breast were any different, they're not painful
User :   I'm not sick (just really freaked out and that's giving me slight stomack pains)
User :   I'm not sensitive to smell
Doctor :
but to rule out hardly there are any symptoms as the time specified is very less
User :   is it too early for that?
User :   I guess
Doctor :
Doctor :
it is
User :   Is it possible to find someone to chat with later?
User :   I need to go now
Doctor :
User :   But still need to figure out whether I should fly tomorrow...
Doctor :   you can come back at any time
Doctor :
we are here 24/7
User :   ok, thank you
User :   I will talk to you later
Doctor :
please fill the feedback form
User :   ok
User :   goodbye
Doctor :
before leaving
Doctor :
thank you
