Doctor :   any fever ?
User :   no
User :   not for this 3 days, but her body temperature used to be higher in winter as what i experience
Doctor :   ok well in this case since she does has a history of a previous surgery, it is highly recommended that she needs to first get a CT scan done to rule out any complications or a infection
Doctor :   then only we can pinpoint the exact cause and she can be treated accordingly
User :   surgery was once done that too for sinus ....endoscopy was done to cut the extended nose bone
Doctor :   she should also do the following
Doctor :   1) Maximize Moisture. She should always remember to maximize moisture in her nose. Keeping sinuses moist makes mucus thinner, allowing the sinuses to drain better. This drainage in turn helps prevent infection. Use a humidifier, drink plenty of water, avoid drying substances such as alcohol and caffeine, try to avoid smoke which dries out sinus linings, and use plenty of saline irrigation.
Doctor :   but to diagnose she needs to undergo a physical examination from a ENT physician
User :   what is saline irrigation
Doctor :   Nasal saline irrigation has been shown to be a beneficial therapy in the treatment and prevention of sinus infections and allergic rhinitis. This non-pharmacologic therapy involves rinsing the nasal passages with a salt-water solution, helping to rid the nose of allergens and mucus. This may reduce the need for antibiotics in those people prone to sinus infections.
Doctor :   Various nasal saline rinse kits are available commercially at your local chemist
Doctor :   Certainly the simplest form of nasal irrigation is the hand-snort technique. Simply pour a small puddle of the isotonic saline solution into the cupped palm of your hand and submerge your nostrils in the solution. Quickly snort the liquid into your sinuses and then allow it to drain back out. You will probably require several snorts to thoroughly clear the sinuses out.
User :   what flomist is for
Doctor :   its a nasal spray used for management nasal attributes seasonal both constant allergic and dryness
Doctor :   she should use it
Doctor :   but like i said
Doctor :   she needs to see a ENT
