Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   how can i help you
User :   Hi- I had a question regarding a medication
Doctor :   okay proceed
User :   I've been asking my doctor to try me on low dose vicodin to tackle my back and migraine issues (its the only thing thus far thats aided me). However he says it's not a good idea to give it to me with my fibromyalgia. Any reasons why?
Doctor :   ok first and foremost is your pain so severe
User :   yes-I've been through a multitude of medications that have been ineffective
User :   I'm just more curious as to why it'd be bad with the fibro. he didn't really explain it to me
Doctor :   because vicodin by itself as so many sideeffects
User :   well i did try one on an especially bad day with no adverse effects
User :   I could see if it became a regular thing but I only need relief on an as needed basis
Doctor :   of course it is drug which if started as an longer effect of addiction
Doctor :   and it suppress your body defence slowly making your fibromyalgia worser
Doctor :   in one hand it will reduce pain for some time
Doctor :   but in long run it can make even other drugs ineffective
Doctor :   but it is the one of the choice in severe cases
