Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can i help you?
User :   hey i have a few questions
Doctor :
User :   im 18 about 130lbs and checked today and seen my bp was 134/85 and pulse rate was 116
Doctor :
User :   Ive checked the pulse rate many times and it's been as high as 130 while i havent done anything
Doctor :   ok
User :   so what would be causing this really high pulse rate and bp?
Doctor :   pulse is high and it may be because of anxiety
User :   and within the past few months ive had a few times where my hearts just suddenly hurt and today its happened quite a bit, also while driving my right shoulder and arm started hurting then went away withing 30 seconds, all while being short of breath
Doctor :
you need a basic ECG to say what is wrong with the heart rate
Doctor :   have you got ECG done?
User :   also recently when ive had the days where its hurt the most i know i have blood somehow getting into my stomach
User :   no, not yet
Doctor :
it is needed to comment further for what is causing the increased heart rate at rest
Doctor :
more so do you have symptoms of excessive sweating, recent weight loss?

User :   ok, im back
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :
do you have symptoms of excessive sweating, recent weight loss?
User :   ive sweated excessively for as long as i can remember. i sweat when i drive, or even when i sleep
Doctor :   ok
User :   i have lost a little weight ..i was around 140 and went down to 125 now back to 130
Doctor :
Doctor :
this is since when?
User :   i started college end of august and was about 140 then, then withing a month i was down to close to today back to around 125-130
Doctor :   the increased heart rate you have observed since when?
User :   not that long ago..i never thought of checking it and did once randomly to find out its that high
Doctor :   so it was a random self check
User :   yes, but before i still had the random right behind the sternum pains
Doctor :   how is your appetite? is it increased or decreased?

User :   a few months ago i would eat quite a bit but lately its been down
Doctor :   have you noticed any increase in hair fall?

User :   actually yes that i think of it
Doctor :
how about your daily activity. do you feel weakness?
User :   I don't think any of that has changed, I ran a few miles about 2 weeks ago fine but right now i dont think i could with my breathing actually hurting
Doctor :   any family history of heart disease or thyroid disease?

User :   not to my knowledge, but i've really never asked. but if was that common i think i would have overheard it sometime
Doctor :   yes defenitely

Doctor :
so no family history of heart disease that is good
User :   yep, not to my knowledge
Doctor :   do you have any worries ?
User :   yes
User :   am a bit stressed but ive had the days lately where ive been fine then just feel horrible later on
Doctor :   may i know the reason?
User :   lol relationship issues haha
Doctor :   is it affecting your goals

Doctor :
i mean the relationship issues are interfering in your studies?
User :   no not really
User :   depressed but that's gonna happen
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   you have this shortness of breath and sternal discomfort. when do you get them? a specific time or situation you have noticed?
User :   shortness of breath only started very recently and today was really bad. the discomfort has been for a few months where it would randomly feel like a jab in the heart then go away after a few seconds...but today mainly its been doing it quite a bit
Doctor :   did you take any medical advise?

User :   but i shouldn't be worried about the pain in the shoulder and arm right after it starts hurting the most and the most out of breath time
User :   not yet....i kind of waited it out
Doctor :   your problem seems to be stress induced somatic disorder

Doctor :
it means you have this shortness of breath and sternal pain all this because of emotional stress
User :   most of the times it pops up tho are when im the best mood
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   so only to rule out the rhythm disorder of the cardia an ECG is required
User :   would that be associated with this or would that be on a different level?
Doctor :   the symptoms you describe goes more in favor of stress disorder. more so atypical types as you get the symptoms in the best mood
Doctor :   to rule out the possibility of rhythm disorder an ECG is been suggested
User :   would you recommend that or should i not be too worried
Doctor :   more so i recommend you not to be worried
Doctor :
that might sole much of your symptoms
Doctor :
User :   i really havent been THAT worried tho
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   not to be worried

Doctor :   it seems more to be an anxiety which is very common at your age
User :   thats crossed my mind, it just made me wonder more when again i know ive had blood getting into my stomach, and these pains were back when i was still in the end of high school
User :   it just seems to have gotten worse though
Doctor :   blood getting into your stomach?

User :   ive seen blood in the toilet a few times to go along with this...i dont know if its related
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   blood in stools was it painful to pass stools?
User :   no, not at all
Doctor :   i think you need not worry much
User :   and that only happens when im really stressed out
Doctor :   again its stress
Doctor :
shortness of breath and chest pain is the physical symptom of stress along with perspiration, increased heart rate and some times increase in BP
User :   forgot to mention this but, it hasnt been diagnosed but im pretty sure i am bipolar or something similar....
Doctor :   no you are not bipolar
User :   Just all those things reacting into one big thing
User :   well....then im just mentally crazy haha
Doctor :   relax
Doctor :   you are fine
Doctor :
bipolar is a sever mental disorder. do you think you suffer from that?
User :   actually yes
User :   i can be as happy as can be and if 1 person tells me 1 thing i dont want to hear im on the verge of somethings going to break, or somethings going to happen to my body lol
Doctor :   ok
User :   but i can also be as happy as possible and then get more depressed than ever in a single word also
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   happy, fear, depression, anger are all part and parcel of life.
Doctor :
some times we over express it and some times under
User :   but is it really normal for when ...example: I've been fine then called from the wrong person from the wrong phone and ended up bloody and drunk...? lol
Doctor :   it is a normal response
User :   i know im not the only one in the family with it and i do believe there is a history of depression/bipolar in the family
Doctor :   as it been diagnosed and any body is on treatment?
User :   it wouldnt have been before my parents and most of the relatives after that arent alive anymore, and idk the true history
User :   maybe i just got really bad traits lol
Doctor :   i don't know why you perceive you have depression, when you have symptoms of anxiety
User :   its the up down kinda thing
User :   i have the symptoms of anxiety but i have bad nights to where i wont even move or ill break down
Doctor :   ok
User :   Ok, so the main issues...the bp and pulse rate should be ok for now but i should probably watch it just in case?
User :   and how long is too long of holding a 130ish pulse rate before its time to get it checked out
Doctor :   it is better to get it checked with an ECG and a blood test

User :   soon? or if it keeps up
Doctor :   any thing above 100 if persistent needs an evaluation
User :   i know ive ran over a 100 for probably a month now
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :
as soon as possible consult one physician
User :   this a simple, regular test?
Doctor :   yes it is simple and regular test
Doctor :
like they measure your Bp
Doctor :
pulse and check your heart sounds
Doctor :   one ECG to know more about the rhythm of heart
Doctor :
and blood test like HB and RBC count
User :   of course, needles, the thing i hate the most lol
Doctor :   blood test may be not be required
Doctor :
i just mentioned for the sake of completion
User :   ahh icic
User :   is ecg the electrode kinda things
Doctor :
Doctor :
is there any thing else i can help you with
User :   That would be it for now!
Doctor :   please fill the feed back form
User :   did!
Doctor :   kindly let us know about your results with ECG
User :   will do, thanks alot and have a good day
