User:I had a very bad cough a week back
User:i have recovered from the cough but not getting a releif from the sinus
User:my right jaw is paining now due to this
User:and I am using xylomist nasal drops but its not giving much releif

Doctor:Jaw in technical terms refer to the lower part of the mouth which moves during speech and eating.
Doctor:Do you mean this is the area that is paining?
Doctor:Can you specify the exact area which is in pain in relation to your teeth?
User:i mean when i open my mouth it pains problem with my teeth

User:only my right part of the face pains

User:i have a little cough too . .

User:but i just started taking it today with reference to some old prescription which i preserved when i had a similar problem a few months back

Doctor:You seem to be suffering from right maxillary sinusitis where the symptoms of headache would be more during morning hours and gradually improve in the evening.
Doctor:You can continue to use xylomist nasal applicants.
Doctor:In addition you can take Dolo 650mg round the clock say every 4-6 hours
Doctor:depending on pain relief.
Doctor:Besides these two I also suggest the below measures
Doctor:1. Steam inhalation with Karvol plus capsule.
Doctor:This capsule is available over the counter,
Doctor:You can add the contents into warm water and inhale
Doctor:three or four times a day.
User:i would certainly get karvol plus today
Doctor:It relieves nasal congestion and clears sinus passages.
Doctor:2. you can add antihistamine drugs to the regimen.
Doctor:I write cetrizine 10mg tablets to be taken at night to my patients.
User:is it a tablet
Doctor:You can use one similar medications as per your doctors guidance.
User:what is antihistamine is it a tablet
Doctor:3. Sleep with your head slightly lowered.
User:do you suggest not to use a pillow
Doctor:It prevents secretions from collecting into maxillary sinus.
Doctor:Keep the head end slightly below your body.
Doctor:Yes avoid pillow; turn your head to the left and sleep.
Doctor:Antihistamines are drugs that prevents allergic manifestation.
User:ok will try this today
Doctor:It also helps by drying the nasal cavity.
User:so is cetrizine antihistamines
Doctor:4. If pain is very severe, you can also use warm compresses to the right face.
Doctor:It can be soothening.
Doctor:Yes, cetrizine is an antihistamine.
Doctor:5. With these measures your sinus issues should improve.

Doctor:However if pain becomes severe or if you develop fever
