User :   I have a severe neck pain for the past 2-3 days
Doctor :   The neck is from from cervical strain during sleep

User :   yes its paining for the first time i han no injury
User :   its paining from the head to shoulder

Doctor :   it is due to strain during sleep

Doctor :   The abnormal positions in sleep will cause spams in neck muscles
User :   now what should i do..
Doctor :   The spams can be best treated with rest to neck(neck collor), Ibuprofen 400mg 3 times day
Doctor :   You can apply heat packs 3-4 times day
User :   yes i'm already using heat packs

Doctor :   During sleep you have to use soft pillows
Doctor :   Sleep face up
Doctor :   Avoid sleeping on the side
