- by temple right side, blood vein popped out, v shape with pea size lump

- pain down right side of face to jaw
- increase in head ache pain (headache has been there Oct 23 2010)

What would cause all these new symptoms plus my recovery from benign vertigo? What are
the next possible tests to be done?
Would an MRI of the head - show what is happening?
Keep in mind I've been resting since Oct 23.
Doctor :   hi
User :   hi
User :   thank you doctor
Doctor :   let me read ur query
User :   thank you, there is alot to read.
Doctor :   what do u mean by postional repositioning?
User :   the doctor at, placed me lying down, then dropped down my head and turn my head very fast in the direction of the turning left.
Doctor :   so what was his inferance after this test ?
Doctor :   this test is whether you have inner ear issues
Doctor :   what did he say after performing the test ?
Doctor :   are u there ?
Doctor :   Are u there ?
User :   yes, it was positional benign vertigo
Doctor :   to summarise now, you have intolerable headache , dizziness , visual blurring , loss of energy and appetite
Doctor :   Do u have any issues like chewing trouble, ear ache ?
User :   add to summary loss of balance when walking and also nauseous (haven't thrown up in 2 weeks).
Doctor :   any issues like chewing trouble, ear ache ?
User :   No trouble eating, chewing, just pain down the right side fromthe temple to jaw - always there constant
User :   Headache pain entire forehead, no ear ache
Doctor :   Do u take any medications for ur symptoms as of now ?
User :   Novo-Betahistine 16 mg - 3 tmes per day, Advil, anti-nausea gravel
Doctor :   have they not helped your dizziness ?
Doctor :   if not, you can take Meclizine 25 mg 3 times a day, which is available over the counter
Doctor :   may i know what blood tests were done to rule out temporal arteritis ?
Doctor :   Was the ESR checked, if so, was it normal ?
Doctor :   From the history given so far, the current symptoms could be due to a nerve damage due to the tooth removal
Doctor :   this nerve damage along with the trauma associated with the tooth removal could have resulted in damage to the jaw joint
User :   are u there?
Doctor :   and these symptoms could be due to temporo mandibular joint disorder
Doctor :   also called TMJ disorder
Doctor :   Have you not recieved all the last 5-6 comments that i have typed in ?
Doctor :   It seems that you have difficulty in typing
Doctor :   Are u there ?
User :   yes
User :   No there is a time delay in getting screen updates
Doctor :   have u recieved all the comments that i have posted ?
Doctor :   If so please provide the response to the questions so that i can help u more
Doctor :   Was the ESR checked, if so, was it normal ?
User :   Time delayed between sending from my key board and appearing on the screen for me to see and read
User :   Yes, ESR was normal. Test was done yesterday.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do u have the results of any other tests done ?
User :   question the tooth pulled was on the left side, this week the pain is on the right side temple going down, and the vein died - would this still be TMJ
Doctor :   have u always had the pain only on the right side and never on the left side ?
Doctor :   If so, then it may be not TMJ disorder
User :   Only test results were ESR, and temporal arteritis - both negtive
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   In that case , additional tests including a Xray of the mandible, and a MRI would be helpful
User :   My pain until this week has always been my left side of the face
Doctor :   the associated conditions could be cavernous sinus thrombosis
Doctor :   If so, then it may be not TMJ disorder
Doctor :   a MRI can help to rule CST (cavernous sinus thrombosis )
User :   This week, starting Monday I woke up with the vien popped out on the temple, V shaped, at the mid point in the V is a pea shaped lump
Doctor :   This could be a lymph node
Doctor: it seems that u have moved out of the chat session
Doctor :   please login back if u have any addtional query
