Doctor:Dr. XXXXXXX here
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:just want to know that 8 weeks pregnant can i color my hair
Doctor:There is no scientific evidence that colouring your hair will effect pregnancy.
Doctor:But make sure you choose a product which you are used to.
Doctor:I do not want you to try a new product and later have allergic reactions/side effects.
Doctor:I would not suggest my patients to end up with unwanted side effects which need medications for treatment.
User:i always streax hair color, i dont have allergiv bt iit comes with ammonia will it have any eefct
User:i do not wnat to take any risk
Doctor:If you have been used to the product, then the content of streax is not known to cause any effects on you or your pregnancy.
Doctor:Topical agents unless an untill consumed have least effects on pregnancy.
User:which oone si better streax or loreal without ammonia
Doctor:Let me put this across in simple words to you.
Doctor:External applicant do not cause any serious effects on pregnancy.
Doctor:Therefore any skin or hair applicant are considered safe during pregnancy.
Doctor:The only concern which I would be worried is
Doctor:if you develop unwanted side effects.
Doctor:like an allergy.
Doctor:Such unwanted effects will need treatment using drugs and those drugs could have been avoided.
Doctor:Therefore if you wish to colour your hair for an urgent requirement, you can proceed.
Doctor:Only recommendation would be to use an already used and tested product instead of new ones.
User:i have used both Steax & Loreal none of them have done any side effects
Doctor:Then you are free to use any of the products.
User:also want to know if manicure , pedicure is safe , bcoz i read soomwwhere that ur body temp should not reach more than 102.c
Doctor:Fever and increased body temperature has other effects on the body. I do not think the procedures cause rise in body temperature.
Doctor:You can speak to your beautician and verify about the procedure.
Doctor:Any procedure that causes physical stress is preferably to be avoided.
Doctor:Have you followed?
