Doctor :   its common for a 5 month to get infected in the ear
Doctor :   And that has to be treated with antibiotic ear drops
Doctor :   do place a cotton ball at the ear opening which will soak the discharge
Doctor :   Do give her Syp Crocin 125mg about 5 ml twice daily for fever
Doctor :   But i would advice you to take her to a pediatrician to get her ear examined and confirm that its an infection and get her on suitable antibiotic drops

Doctor :   Some times there is a possibility where it could be a physiologic ( Normal ) discharge
