User :   My 16 year old daughter has a malformed (bicuspid) aortic valve with minor stenosis and minor regurgitation. She's been told to avoid contact sports. Can she ride roller coasters and other theme park rides (e.g. Six Flags)?

Doctor :   It is better to avoid theme park rides
Doctor :   Roller coasters are still fine
User :   I'm confused. If she should avoid theme park rides, why would roller coasters be OK?
Doctor :   Roller coaster has no intensity and has no severe sympathetic drive
User :   Which theme park rides, then, should be avoided?
Doctor :   Where as theme park rides, the body is subject to intense body movements, adrenaline rush
Doctor :   Roller coaster is a playful
User :   But don't extreme roller coasters do that too?
Doctor :   Theme park rides has intensity involved with lot of anxiety
Doctor :   If you think the roller coaster has the same involvment, yes it should also be avoided
User :   OK. Could I ask a second doctor's opinion too?
Doctor :   You may ask a cardiologist then
