Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How can I help you?
User :   hello doctor
Doctor :   Are you there?
Doctor :   Ok
User :   so i am 20 years old female. i have rhinitis since the day i was born. i always have to blow my nose several times a day most of the times with just little white mucus. one month ago i went to a cruise and my nose cleared . i dont know maybe it was from the sea.
Doctor :   Ok
User :   when i came back home my nose was very dry again i had mucus but i also felt my nose burning kind of
User :   since then almost every time i blow my nose there is little blood
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Ok
User :   brown blood actually. i think i injured my nose from blowing it all the time but its been almost a month and i still have blood sometimes. last week i felt a bloody taste in my mouth and when i spit i had little blood. when i spit again everything was fine.
User :   today i had the same situation again . but the blood is very very little.
User :   it looks like a small fibre that time.
User :   what could that be?
User :   is there anything to worry? i had blood tests and everything was fine
Doctor :   The blood that you find every time you blow is probably due to injured blood vessel in your nose.
Doctor :   The injury seems secondary to repeated blowing of the nose.
User :   (also since the cruise my nose is always stuffy and dry)
Doctor :   Now there are various causes which gives rise to repeated nasal congestion.
Doctor :   It could be as simple as seasonal allergies to structural problems such as deviated nasal septum / enlarged turbinates / sinusitis and so on.
User :   the nasal congestion is caused by my rhinitis. i know that its been years. i was just worrying for the blood.
User :   what about the blood from my mouth?
Doctor :   Some times in people who have chronic rhinitis, have post nasal drip
User :   today in the morning i felt my throat a little bit sore from the airconditioning but then i felt okay. and last week i had blood from my mouth again
Doctor :   it's means that the nasal secretions drip into though the throat.
Doctor :   You could also be having the same.
Doctor :   Post nasal drip of the blood stained nasal secretions.
Doctor :   I would not be worried.
User :   so there is nothing to worry. right?
Doctor :   However if your symptoms do not come down, I suggest you to see ENT specialist for nasal examination.
Doctor :   The cause of persistent bleeding needs to be determined.
Doctor :   You may need a nasal endoscopy.
Doctor :   Were the reports of the test normal then?
User :   okay doctor. thank you
User :   i had a nasal endoscopy
User :   2 months ago
User :   yes.
Doctor :   It is unlikely that a serious concerning problem could develop in the span of 2 months,
Doctor :   probably the cause is trauma due to repeated blowing.
Doctor :   So do not worry.
Doctor :   Saline nasal drops, anti allergy drugs (both topical applications or oral drugs) will be helpful in reducing the symptoms.
Doctor :   The symptoms should soon resolve.
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me.
User :   ok doctor thank you for your time
Doctor :   Have a nice day!!
Doctor :   Bye for now.
User :   no doctor thank you
