User :   I have been having AWFUL pain in my neck. My neck tightens up and hurts on the right back side. i end up with my head lopsided and unable to move without excrutiating pain. i took one vicodin earlier and about 5 minutes after i was able to move and unstiffen. (this is the 3rd time i've had to repeat the vicodin and each time it results in the same 'loosened' feeling, this has been ongoing for 4 days now and i really don't feel like popping pills all day long) could this be a pinched nerve and what do i need to do to make this pain go away? cortizone? (ps i went to my doctor already and he just prescribed me vicodin and sent me on my way)
