Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here.please proceed with your health query
User :   hello! I was just disconnected
User :   Hello! Starting around March 20 I have a muscle pain in my right butt cheek on the outter side. It hurts there and in my inner grion aread when I cough or sneeze. If I take excedrine that pain is pretty much gone for about 4 hours and then comes back. It hurts to put any type of pressure on it and at times if I go from sitting to standing it will feel like someone is pulling that muscle for about 15-30 seconds, evenings are the worse as this is my down time and I am not moving as much. Any suggestions to get rid of this, I have tried my tens unit on this muscle and tried stretches. Thank you!
Doctor :   please provide your age, gender, location, occupation, height, weight, details of past medical illness if any
Doctor :   is the pain present only when you cough or sneeze?

User :   just x-rays
Doctor :   MRI will show more of soft tissue and disc related issues which x-rays do not pick
Doctor :   get the low back paina nd the pain inbuttocks examined by your physician and request for a MRI of low back
Doctor :   it would pick any disc bulges related
Doctor :   and possible cause for your buttock pain
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   the doctor checked my discs back in january this yeat
Doctor :   ok. was any problem diagnosed? what tests were done?
User :   no problems everything was fine
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   have you consulted any orthopedician for your low back problem?
Doctor :   could you describe the pain in buttocks and low back pain in detail?

User :   It feels tight and it hurts to stretch it and at time when I get up and start walking there is a sharp pain that goes in a matter of seconds there is no pain in my back when this happens. the lower back pain is mostly in the morning.
Doctor :   ok.
