User :   i have been having some medical issues for a while now

User :   i went to my doctor a few weeks later after flu sympotoms persisted

User :   had it done 4 months ago and then recently as they said to come bk after 3 months, both were negative

User :   yes but only when discharge is present

Doctor :   There could be several causes for this, a mild urine infection can be present.
Doctor :   I suggest that you drink plenty of oral fluids as this flushes out the infection.
User :   it comes and goes on its own accord
Doctor :   I also suggest that if it doesnt reduce with fluids
Doctor :   then you should get a Complete Urine Examination done
Doctor :   that will determine whether there is any infection or not.
User :   is ther any std/herpes condition that makes you feel sick all the time and make you have bouts of viral symptoms?
Doctor :   Yes, but herpes doesnt cause respiratory infections.
Doctor :   I suggest that you get the test done.

User :   had numerous urine tests done, all they come up with is ther is lots of white blood cells in the urine

User :   yeah
Doctor :   I suggest that you get your tonsils checked with an ENT surgeon as tonsillitis can also cause this picture.

User :   not really just hurts from time to time and genrally feel sick to stomach

User :   i get alot of phlegm in bk of throat, which is worse in the morning

Doctor :   the most probable cause could be a viral infection
Doctor :   which attacks repeatedly
Doctor :   but i cannot rule out the streptococcal bacteria

Doctor :   to determine if it is cause of the rptd sore throat
Doctor :   and now for the symptomatic treatment
User :   i have been tested for strep

User :   how can i treat a recurring viral infection then?

Doctor :   warm water gargles with pinch of salt in it
Doctor :   sucking popsicles
Doctor :   tylenol or aspirin for the pain
Doctor :   etc
User :   so no actual cure just stuff to help when have symptoms?
Doctor :   One cannot prevent the viral infection in the throat
User :   why?
User :   somehting must cause it
Doctor :   Most sore throats go away on their own in about a week. Only a small percentage may require medical care.
User :   4 months ive had this throat for now
Doctor :   The single best way to prevent illness is also one of the simplest: hand washing.
