User :   doctor my wife is having sour throath and suffering with fever

Doctor :   ask her to use warm saline water (salt water) for gargles
Doctor :   take some combiflam for body aches (once a day)
Doctor :   and it helps in fever
Doctor :   i guess, that she might be having pharyngitis, or tonsillitis (in case tonsils are enlarged)
Doctor :   and hence she may need a course of good antibiotics , for a few days (5 days)
Doctor :   and she will recover mostly
