User :   Hello, i am pregnant (currently 37 weeks). In trimester one, my thryoid TSH levels was 6, (at week 4 pregnancy) and 2 weeks later dropped to 4.25. Because my T4 and T3 levels were normal, both my GP and Ob decided to just monitor me and not medicate. Couple weeks later my TSH levels dropped to 3.85 and stayed this way till present (not increasing). My question is, would my TSH levels have affected my baby's brain or development? All my ultrasounds came back normal and they checked the brain and all looked good and normal. My pregnancy vitamin contains iodine 150mg which i take daily and even before conceiving plus i consume iodized salt.
