User :   Had sex witouth a condom little over a month ago. But she had just finished having her period 2 days before that night. I did not ejaculate inside and we had sex for no more than 20 minutes. On top of that she took a PLAN B ONE STEP pill the day after. Now, she is taking pills for anemia that she says decrease the blood amount from her period. She also says these pills have hormones in them. She says that last week she got her period but it was only a little and then it was gone, and then it returned 2 days after in the same low amount. She took a pregnancy test today and it came out as positive... What are the chances she is pregnant??? (if she is i must be the unluckiest guy on
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   let me read ur query
User :   hey how u doing,
User :   no problem
Doctor :   give me a few minutes
Doctor :   I am of the opinion that she could not be pregnant as you had sex with her in the safe period
Doctor :   and the test could be a false positive and needs to be confirmed again
User :   you think the false positive could be due to the anemia medicina she is taking?
Doctor :   may i know the medication she is on ?
User :   she left it at home, she doesnt remember the name :(
Doctor :   ok
User :   but she told me they have one ingredient that also birth control pills have
Doctor :   in any case most medications for anemia do not cause changes with a urine pregnancy test
User :   and that they have hormones that decrease the amount of blood from her period, something like that
Doctor :   i understand
User :   what would u say the chances of her being pregnant would be. Considering she had her period 2 days prior to that night, that i did not ejaculate inside, and that she took a PLAN B ONE STEP pill?
User :   like a percent?
Doctor :   But in any case, taking plan B causes changes in the periods , as in reduced duration and delayed periods as well
Doctor :   the chances of pregnancy with all that you have mentioned is nil
User :   she is gonna buy another test later on to double check, and on friday she gona go to the doctor to check if she really is. But from what u have told me i feel much better now, thanks hehe
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   she should get a blood test to check the serum HCG levels ( blood pregnancy test)
User :   how much time do we have? maybe i can address other things that i always wanted to ask a doctor
Doctor :   you have enough time
Doctor :   you can repeat a urine pregnancy test, once again anytime
Doctor :   and in case of any doubts you can get a blood test done anyway
User :   yes, i told her to buy another brand too
Doctor :   thats ok
User :   ok, this is a question about me (sorry if i take some time, im at work)
Doctor :   that is ok
User :   ok. So almost everytime i go to the bathroom for number 2, i would say 4 out of 5 times, there is blood on the toilet paper
User :   this blood is like regular blood
User :   that just keeps coming
Doctor :   you mean to say there is oozing of blood
Doctor :   and this occurs only at the end of the bowel movements
Doctor :   and Is there a coating of blood on the stools ?
User :   i also get constipated at times, so what i think it may be is that i have some kind of wound there and it just opens up everytime i use the bathroom
User :   sorry my english isnt that great. Stools is toilet paper?
Doctor :   no stools is the feces that u refer as No 2
Doctor :   by the description and the history of constipation it seems that you may be having either hemorroids , that a dilated blood vessels due to chronic constipaiton
Doctor :   or fissures in the anal canal , as in ulcers that are very painful and bleed when you pass stools
User :   yes, most times it does hurt
User :   like a burning
Doctor :   In that case you may be having fissures in the anal canal
User :   and when i clean myself theres blood on the paper, some times very little, sometimes alot
Doctor :   you need to get examined so that effective treatment can be done
Doctor :   also u need to change ur diet habits to control the issue of constipation
Doctor :   In the mean time, you can use any analgesic jelly or lignocaine to prevent the pain due to the fissure
User :   thanks
User :   sometimes when im not even in the bathroom i feel some kind of burning feelings inside my anus, like sometimes when i get up from sitting down or the other way around
User :   i was thinkin it has to do with the bleeding
Doctor :   thats due to the fissues
Doctor :   try to use some OTC laxatives in the mean time to control constipaiton
Doctor :   drink enough fluids and add fibre in ur diet
Doctor :   eat whole foods and avoid junk foods
Doctor :   this will help to solve constipation over a long run
User :   on top of that i go to pee alot, like lets say im drinkin wit my friends and i have to go pee after every beer, when they go after 5. Plus i have (a little ashamed of this) problems with erection and also premature ejaculation. Which i think its very strange because im only 20
User :   i was thinkin everything was related
Doctor :   these issues is very common in youngsters than u think
Doctor :   u need to get evaluated for any UTIs for ur urinary frequecies
User :   will do
User :   if i end the chat will this conversation be saved?
Doctor :   YES
Doctor :   yOU can see the chat history in your profile
User :   Ok, thanks a lot doctor, i appreciate it. Take care
Doctor :   or you can copy paste in a word file and use it any time later
Doctor :   you r welcome
Doctor :   please leave ur feedback as u log out
User :   no problem
Doctor :   take care
Doctor :   bye for now
User :   bye
