Doctor :   Dr raju here
User :   Hi Sir, just gone through the article on Pharyngitis. I think even i have pharyngitis. every time the season changes, i have sore throat; and this is accompained by dry cough (non-mucus producing). I feel extreme pain from tonsils to the lower end of throat whenever I swallow/gulp (even air). When I cough a bit longer, there is extreme inflammation in my throat. Usually, caughing, as well as the pain and inflammation are extreme during evenings and nights. There were times when I cannot sleep all night and wake up caughing. Any help pl.
