User :   Hi, I'm hoping to get some guidance here. Last year I had molluscum contagiosum on my arm from martial arts. It stayed for about a year before I had the spots removed with 2 sessions of cryotherapy. It left (probably) semi-permanent skin pigmentation on each of the 15-20 spots. A couple of months ago, about 5 months after I had the MCs on my arm frozen, I noticed spots on my penis. I've been to 3 GPs and 1 dermatologist. 2 of the GPs said they were warts and prescribed podophyllin, 1 GP and the dermatologist said molluscum and to either have cryotherapy (which I don't want because of the scars it left on my arm) or to wait (which is also not preferable because the spots on my arm lasted a year with no sign of going away). I've spent countless hours researching on the internet, and am feeling really emotionally disturbed with these spots, and I fear that they are spreading. Is there any way I can determine, definitively, whether they are warts or molluscum? And is there any proven treatment? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Doctor :   hello
User :   hi
User :   Are you able to see my question?
Doctor :   yes i am going thru it
User :   I should add a bit more detail - so far the podophyllin has done nothing. I tried using apple cider vinegar on the skin as recommended online by several sources but all it did was burn my skin. The bumps are in little clusters at the base of my penis.
Doctor :   well i am a general physician here and i dont think i will be able to help you in this within my expertise . so what i can do for you is that i can give you the option to go for a specialist opinion, there is a fee for it and we will REFUND you your this money
User :   how much is it to chat with a specialist?
Doctor :   39$ and you have 2 options either you can mail in your query or we can have the specialist call you on the phone
Doctor :   i can ask my customer care to give you a discount
User :   well not at this time i'd rather not then, can i get a refund for this session
Doctor :   sure
User :   thanks
Doctor :   no problem
Doctor :   take care
