User :   hmm
Doctor :   Both itching and pimples are chronic conditions.
User :   ok
Doctor :   I mean, that these problems can only be prevented.
Doctor :   The exact reason why they occur are not known,
Doctor :   however there are factors which can contribute to these condition.
User :   hmm
Doctor :   Let me explain that.
Doctor :   Itching is a common skin when the skin gets dry.
Doctor :   As you have pointed out, that your symptoms are worse during cold weather, its probably the dryness of the skin that is causing the itch.
User :   but i dont think i hve hyper pigmentation.....the doc wic i consulted is itself a dermatologist.....and he has given me medicne for 30 days.....4 types of tablets and 1 lotion also....i dont think all dese r neccessary...may b he dint checked me correctly.....and i did some research on hyper pigmentation i can say this....
User :   hmmm...
Doctor :   Hence treating the dryness of the skin will help to a great extent in preventing the itching.
User : i should put lotion on skin or moisturizers
Doctor :   Measures such these will help
Doctor :   1. Avoid wiping your skin following a bath, instead air dry.
User :   and what about the pimples
User :   ok
Doctor :   I shall come to that, once I finish with this.
User :   i dont use any soap in my face...i use himalaya anti pimples facewash
User :   ok
Doctor :   2. Avoid harsh soaps, use mild soaps preferrably which contains moisturisers in it.
Doctor :   Pears or dove are good examples for such soaps
User :   i use dove or pears
Doctor :   Continue with them
User :   ok
Doctor :   3. Apply moisturisers regularly twice a day.
Doctor :   Preferrably when your skin is slightly wet.
User :   ok
Doctor :   you can increase the frequence of application depending on the demands
User :   hmm
Doctor :   4. Good diet consisting of plenty of fruits and vegetables.
User :   i eat them
User :   i have a good diet
Doctor :   Multivitamin pill supplements will be an useful addition.
Doctor :   Continue with your diet.
User :   dint get u
Doctor :   I mean continue following a healthy diet.
User :   multivitamin pill?
Doctor :   5. There are reports that skin is affected by stress factors too, hence regular sleeping and managing stress properly will help on long term.
User :   ok....i sleep less
User :   may b 4 or 5 hrs
Doctor :   Multivitamin supplements such as Becousules/neurobion can be used.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Sleep factors can play a role in keeping your skin healty, though not significant, but not negligible.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Hence improve on your sleeping habits.
User :   ok
Doctor :   These factors should preventing the itching.
Doctor :   Pimples/acne again occur due to multiple factors,
User :   hmmmm
Doctor :   Hormones, environmental factors, skin factors, stress factors apart from many other factors are probably the cause
User :   so wat can i do to remove dem
Doctor :   A complete cure, similar to your previous problems may not be possible, however, you can definitely prevent them.
User :   hmm
Doctor :   Once a pimple starts, they can often heal in a few days, however some may get inflammed secondary to infection.
Doctor :   The redness that you see following a pimple is probably due the inflamed pimple.
Doctor :   most of them heal without any measures,
User :   but they are not healing....its been 4 months
Doctor :   few can leave a dark spot/brown spot referred to by doctor as hyperpigmentation.
Doctor :   This is what your previous doctor might have meant.
User :   so u want to say that the doctor is correct
Doctor :   May I know what medications did your previous doctor recommend?
User :   yaah
User :   m typing dem
User :   1.altriz for 15 days
User :   2azrocin500 for 9 days
User :   3.era-40 for 30 days 2 tyms a day
User :   4.licorit for 10 days
User :   5.nmf lotion \...dats it
User :   now u say
Doctor :   Give me a few minutes while I check on these drugs.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   let me brief you.
User :   hmm
Doctor :   The medications are given to treat an inflammed pimple and to treat the pimples too
User :   ok
Doctor :   Since, I haven't physically examined you, I cannot comment on these pills.
User :   but dont u think they are for too long period
Doctor :   Along with these pills, you also need the following measures
User :   hmm
Doctor :   The medications are fine,
User :   if u want i can send u a pic of me
Doctor :   few people need long treatment for months.
Doctor :   Hence follow as your doctor have advised.
Doctor :   I shall suggest you the other measures.
User :   hmmmm....say
Doctor :   1. Avoid frequent washing.
User :   so u want me to take d medicines and follow the measures too...
Doctor :   Washing your face frequently can aggravate the condition
Doctor :   2. Avoid unnecessary manipulation of the pimples.
Doctor :   3. Manage your stress adequately.
Doctor :   4. Avoid sun exposure(they can increase the pigmentation)
Doctor :   These measures, along with the medications will help in treating the current problems.
User :   ok
User :   will carefully follow all these
Doctor :   The black or brown spots if they persist inspite of the medications, you can use depigmentation creams such as garnier products or mederma creams.
Doctor :   They are effective.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Alternatively, you can try dermaabrasion
User :   wich garnier products
User :   i m not getting u
Doctor :   Garnier products such as skin lightening creams are good.
Doctor :   Dermaabrasion is a procedure where the upper layers of the skin is removed using friction
Doctor :   similar to sand papers
User :   can u suggest best name for a depigmentation cream and this dermaabrasion cream
User :   pls name the product
Doctor :   You have misinterpreted my statement.
Doctor :   let me brief that again.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Pigmentation are known to occur when a pimple heals.
Doctor :   This can be avoided by preventing sun exposure.
Doctor :   These dark pigments will slowly fade away over a period of time.
Doctor :   However some cause cosmetic problems.
Doctor :   They can be treated by using depigmentation products that reduce the melanin(dark pigmentation)
User :   ok....but they dont tend to go....
User :   ok
Doctor :   Some of the products that are good are as follows
User :   what are these depigmentation products
Doctor :   1. Bright skin creams
Doctor :   2. Garnier skin lightening creams
Doctor :   3. Mederma creams
Doctor :   I would recommend the above one.
Doctor :   Those which don't fade away easily with these can also be treated by the next step.
User :   u mean mederma cream
Doctor :   yes, mederma creams.
User :   ok
Doctor :   I would suggest you to use the first, as they are reported to be very effective.
Doctor :   The next and the most effective measure is dermabrasion.
Doctor :   This is an out patient procedure done by a dermatologist.
Doctor :   The procedure involves rubbing your skin with a friction creating instrument(similar to sand paper)
Doctor :   The rub and remove the upper layer of the skin.
Doctor :   This removes the upper layer of skin which is deeply pigmented exposing the lower unaffected skin layers.
Doctor :   They can be tried if the medications don't help.
Doctor :   Am I clear now?
Doctor :   Have you followed?
Doctor :   Are you there?
Doctor :   Are you there?
