User :   Hello, I was 4 weeks pregnant when i went to do an abortion, the doctor gave me 2 abortion pills and asked me to come back in 4 hours. when i arrived to him, he did a little operation which is cleaning me ( like suction) i bled only a little after this procedure and didnt bleed until the 8th day for 3 days then the bleeding stopped. on the 2nd day ( which is today ) i woke up and i was bleeding again. and went to the doctor since it was my appointment. During the ultrasound he said he has to do the suction again because there was still some cells. Is this normal ? could this happen again ? please advice me coz im panicing
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Let me read the query.
User :   Hello, please do mean while , allow me to tell you this is the first time i ever get pregnant and the first time i do an abortion. im 28 years old, dont have any medical history neither in my family.
Doctor :   Incomplete evacuation during the procedure may be the reason.
Doctor :   This isn't of concern.
Doctor :   A repeat D&C will solve the problem.
User :   he did suction today as well , do u think it will happen again ?
User :   after he did it today, i saw a small dot in the ultra sound, and asked him what was that, he said its blood and it will go alone . shall i trust him ?
User :   hello ?
Doctor :   The chances are minimal.
Doctor :   However, since I cannot examine you, i cannot guess, if the procedure was a complete one.
Doctor :   You will have to follow up with your doctor, watch out for persistent severe bleeding, like you had before.
Doctor :   If such symptoms appear, then you will have to report back to your doctor.
