Doctor :   hello
User :   I have been told at ER visit last year that I have hormone imbalance. October 27 was the last day of my period and till now I haven't had one. Currently I'm lightly spotting on and off for second day which I never had before. I did take home pregnancy test which came out negative. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms. Is it likely that I'm pregnant? Or is it just hormone imbalance? Thank you.
Doctor :   how can i help you ?
Doctor :   may i know your age >?
User :   I'd appreciate if u give me ur opinion. Thank you.
User :   23
Doctor :   do begin with
Doctor :   i would like you to take the home pregnancy test again
User :   Ok
Doctor :   and yes hormonal imbalance can cause absent periods for months
User :   I never had this kind of spotting before
Doctor :   but they can be rectified by taking a 10 days course of pills which your gynecologist can prescribe
Doctor :   these pills are basically like BCP but in different dosages
Doctor :   which will regulate your periods
Doctor :   i suggest you should see a gynecologist and get it examined
Doctor :   spotting can be seen in hormonal imbalance
Doctor :   but its always good to get a physical examination done
User :   Ok. Thank you. I really appreciate it alot. I don't have insurance and my husband is unemployed so it's tuff but I'll take another test and see where it goes. Thank you
Doctor :   your welcome
