Doctor :   Let me explain to you.
Doctor :   You are probably suffering from a muscular pain - probably calf muscle inflammation or achilles tendinitis.
Doctor :   It could have been caused due to over exertion or injury or secondary to an infection.
Doctor :   This isn't a serious concern, however in the absence of good rest and antiinflammatory measures, your symptoms can get aggravated.
Doctor :   My suggestions to you are
User :   wht type of infection it is
Doctor :   Viral infection or an inflammation can cause such symptoms. however only tests can confirm the presence this.
Doctor :   hence my suggestions to you are
Doctor :   1. Avoid badminton and any other athletic activities for a period of a month.
User :   ok
Doctor :   2. Use local antiinflammatory agents such as volini sprays on the affected calf
Doctor :   3. Use oral antiinflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 3- 5 days.
Doctor :   4. Presence of intense pain causing difficulty to walk is a sign telling that you need to see a doctor.
Doctor :   If you have such symptoms, then you need to see a doctor.
Doctor :   Few blood tests and scans may be necessary.
Doctor :   More potent drugs such as stronger antiinflammatory drugs or steroid therapy is necessary.
User :   is it the sympton of artheritis ?
Doctor :   5. Along with these, you can also include physiotherapy for pain management.
Doctor :   Your symptoms are not suggesting a severe autoimmune condition such as arteritis or inflammatory myositis, however without physical examination and evaluation, its hard to exclude them.
Doctor :   I suggest you to follow the above measures and if possible or if your symptoms aggravate(as mentioned earlier), consider consulting a doctor.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   means previously
Doctor :   You need not panic.
User :   ok
Doctor :   You would have been on the bed in intense pain, if such serious autoimmune disorders were to be considered.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Good rest and the antiinflammatory medications should bring your symptoms down.
Doctor :   Get to the doctor, if the symptoms persist or you find that you are in intense pain while trying to walk.
Doctor :   Hope it is clear.
