User :   And I've been getting headaches that seem like migraines, I've had a new sensitivity to light. I run a very successful high dollar sales business and have a lot of stress. I'm in good shape work out daily 5'4" 130 lbs. Not crazy intense pains but just consistent, mostly at the end of the day, eyes seem to be more sensitive to light then normal with or without headache, vision has always been 20/20 or better no fatigue sometimes I see colored spots, I suffer from panic and aniext attacks so this is stressing me out a bit, brain tumor anureysm? Something major. What are the odds..... No drugs. No alcohol (marijuana) every now and then. lots of stress
Doctor :   Hi,
User :   Hello
Doctor :   let me read your query
User :   I'm a 27 year old male
Doctor :   ok, Do you have giddiness ?
User :   What does that mean
Doctor :   sense of fainting ?
User :   No

User :   Nausea every now and then... Never vomited from the headache alone
Doctor :   ok, Is there a specific time of the day when the headache is more ?
User :   Seems to be in the later part of the day
Doctor :   ok, do your eyes get reddened ( congestion ) during the attack ?
User :   A littl, more blurry though harder to focus
User :   Its the new sensitivity to light that is most concernjng
Doctor :   ok, i do not think its due to brain tumors or aneurysms
Doctor :   its Cluster headache what i suspect in you
Doctor :   the symptoms are very typical of cluster hedache
User :   Common to have 3-4 a week?
Doctor :   yes,
User :   What about the sensitivity to light with no headache
Doctor :   yes, cluster headache occurs due to neurological condition where the nerve ( trigeminal nerve) supplying the eye too is involved , which explains eye symptoms in cluster headache
User :   Imagine these are treatable and not serious?
Doctor :   they are treatable
Doctor :   but since the stress is the major cause of this illness , avoiding stress would be first line of treatment
User :   What would justify me getting cat scan or mra?
Doctor :   I don see a need , until you are examined by a ENT and a ophthalmologist same day to confirm the diagnosis
User :   Can Marajauana play an effect? Since it can distort vision, I use it medicinally to help with stress, it's makes a big difference I function well on it but could this cause the vision issues
Doctor :   yes, if cluster headache is the diagnosis , then yes marijuana ( cannabis) will worsen this
Doctor :   may give relief but will become responsible for the recurrences of headache
User :   That's what I'm thinking been using this for 4 years, the headaches have gotten more frequent in the last 2 months, the vision thing in the last two weeks, the stress very bad over the last month
Doctor :   the stress is one major aggregating factor than cannabis
Doctor :   not all with habit of cannabis will get such symptoms
Doctor :   aggrevating*
User :   Should I visit my dr? Or what should steps should I take to correct (medically) besides less stress. What type of symptoms are important that may be responsible for something severe?
Doctor :   consult a neurologist
Doctor :   watch for vision defec
User :   Like loss in vision
Doctor :   yes,
User :   Ok like severve vison loss or blurry
Doctor :   yes, like loss of vision in a specific part of the field of vision
Doctor :   its called hemianopia

Doctor :   it will be intermittent in the begning and become permanent later
User :   Ok, so see a neurologist first, or an eye dr? Also are medications like maxalt used to treat
Doctor :   consult a neurologist
Doctor :   as the diagnosis can be made by him easily
User :   Ok thanks
Doctor :   maxalt may not help much
User :   Ok
Doctor :   Is there anything i can help you with ?
