User :   Hello, I have a couple of questions. First, is it normal to experience pain in my right testicle during intercourse? it doesn't happen the first time, just the second time. and next is about how I can improve my sex life as far as my erections and refractory time go. I am 20 years old. I was on propecia for 6 months then stopped 4 months ago due to some sexual problems it was causing.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   I'm
User :   hello
Doctor :   Let me read your query
User :   Hello how are you doing?
Doctor :   I'm Fine. Thank you
Doctor :   How do you do?
User :   I'm doing alright
Doctor :   Your first query. It in not normal to experience pain in testicle during intercourse
Doctor :   It may due trauma to testicle
User :   I feel like saying it is from thrusting and hitting against her.. is it possible that could be what's causing it?
Doctor :   As i said it may be due to trauma
User :   alright, what do you recommend I do?
Doctor :   Is there any swelling or color change on the testicle?
User :   nope
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Do you have any other symptoms along with pain?
User :   no. I notice my erection isn't as strong, however that is probably due to it being after an ejaculation
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Since when are you having problem with erection ?
User :   sorry, I wrote a response then it kicked me off
Doctor :   Ok
User :   I became sexually active 5 months ago. I had a problem achieving the initial erection at that time. I consulted a doctor on here and he/she said to discontinue use of propecia (finasteride) prescribed by my dermatologist for hair loss (I am 20 but it's in my genes lol) after about 2 weeks it was a lot better. however i notice I have a longer refractory time (about 30-45minutes) and a weaker erection the second time. a third takes an hour or longer and is barely hard enough for sex.
Doctor :   Before using propecia are you able to get proper erection
User :   yes, however I wasn't sexually active
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Probably it is due to effect of propecia
User :   my dermatologist really downplayed the side effects. she told me they were very rare and barely effected you :/
Doctor :   It Blocks the Dihydrotestosterone, Which is the active androgen in the maintenance of nitric oxide-mediated penile erection
Doctor :   It may cause side effects in few peoples only
User :   ok, so did it permanently effect this?
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   Once the products is stopped it will return to normal
User :   ok, so what I am at now is what is normal for me?
Doctor :   When did you stop propecia?
User :   4 months ago
Doctor :   OK
Doctor :   It will take 5 to 6 months for the effects of propecia to go
User :   alright, and what should I expect then? I know there is no way to know exactly, but what would be the average?
Doctor :   Expect?
User :   would the effects going away decrease the refractory time, or would it increase erection strength.. what result should I expect, if any?
Doctor :   Once the effects is gone, your erection will come to normal
User :   alright, thank you. and what should I do about the testicular pain?
Doctor :   Since when are you having pain?
User :   about 2 weeks
Doctor :   Ok
User :   I don't recall any trauma to the testicle though
Doctor :   Probably when you are having sex, your testicle
Doctor :   might have hit your partners pelvis
Doctor :   Or any bony part
User :   that's what I figured.
Doctor :   Give some rest for a week, take some pain killers
Doctor :   Is the pain present through out the day?
User :   that brings up one more question.. I notice that my scrotum is always loose. rarely does it firm. is this normal? I know a response to an orgasm is the scrotum lifting and firming but mine never does
Doctor :   Ok
User :   no, it doesn't stay for long after sex either
Doctor :   Scrotum regulates the temperature of the testicles
Doctor :   So that the testicle remain at constant temperature
Doctor :   If the room temperature is high, it will be loose and allow the heat to exchange
Doctor :   and keep the temperature in scrotum low
Doctor :   If the room temperature is low, it will become tight and prevent the heat to exchange
User :   but a lot of times when it's cold I notice the scrotum loose. only time it firms is during a hot shower. and that's what confuses me
Doctor :   Ok
User :   well, only time I notice it I guess
Doctor :   Since when are you facing this problem?
User :   as long as I can remember. so I figure it's normal
Doctor :   If the scrotum is loose all the time, even in hot temperature
Doctor :   It might affect the sperm production

Doctor :   You can get a physical examination done then we can come to a proper diagnosis
Doctor :   Is there any thing else I can help you with?
Doctor :   Are you with me?
Doctor :   I have to close the window as you are not responding. Please chat with our doctors 24/7 for medical queries.
