User :   hai doctor. Good afternoon.

User :   I wanted help. i feel i am depressed, but i am not sure.
Doctor :   ok

User :   I am not sure of how to put it in words, but one thing, i feel i am not the usual for some time now. like, i was a short termpered person, but lately i am getting angry for no reason as such. When i try to subside i become sort of frustrated, but when i let go of my anger, i am taken over by guilt.

Doctor :   since when have you been feeling like this?
User :   For a long time now. I feel teary almost all the time and most of the time for no reason as such.
Doctor :   the most common reason is stress
Doctor :   do you have any other health problems?
User :   no.
User :   i had few allergies, but tats not a problem now.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   any sudden weight loss or gain?
User :   well.... weight gain is there, but not very sudden and all.
Doctor :   ok
User :   sort of over the last 2 years, have gained around 10 kg...i think.
Doctor :   have you recently changed your job
Doctor :   or residence
Doctor :   or got additional responsibilities?
User :   yeah residence... no additional responsibilities, apart from teh fact taht i got married last year..nd that sort of has incresed my responsibilities.

Doctor :   this usually happens when there are such responsibilities added

Doctor :   once you adjust it ussully resolves
Doctor :   i suggest that you try stress
Doctor :   realaxation
User :   but that is the problem..i am not able to adjust to it.
Doctor :   techniques like yoga and meditation
Doctor :   take some time off for yourself everyday
Doctor :   an hour or so
Doctor :   and do something which you really like or enjoy
Doctor :   any hobby
Doctor :   also talk about your feelings to people close to you like family and friends
User :   I like reading... but i hardly find time for that. For the last few days, i was not getting sleep till late in the night, and used to be up reading.

Doctor :   for lack of sleep, try to avoid coffee or tea after 4pm
Doctor :   also drink hot milk before bed
User :   its not like i am not tired or not sleepy. but, the moment i touch bed, i sort of am restless and not able to sleep
User :   and then i get up... nad either read or watch tv.
Doctor :   avoid eating
Doctor :   junk
Doctor :   food
Doctor :   and fast foods
User :   i am full time at home only. hardly going outside to have any of these.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   whenever you feel angry
Doctor :   do any activity like cleaning up
Doctor :   or going for a walk
Doctor :   also write down your feelings

User :   i have tried all those...but the thing is like it leads up to frustration nad until i show it and end up crying it stays.
Doctor :   and read them after sometime
Doctor :   try the relaxation techniques
Doctor :   talk to your family about your feelings

Doctor :   or are you feeling these in general?
User :   actually the causes are sort of negligble things.......
Doctor :   yes but they add up

User :   actually me and my husband are living alone... there is no problems as such between us. He is very lovable and very understanding. The problem is i feel he is not contributing in the housework.

Doctor :   did you try talking to him about it?
User :   but later when i think, i know that he is actually puting in a lot, but at that particular moment, wherein if he is watchign TV and i am in teh kitchen.. i start feeling anger.......
User :   yeah i have spoken to him about it....
Doctor :   as i told you whenever you feel such way
Doctor :   just do something
Doctor :   anything that puts your thoughts at ease
User :   yeah.. but when i dont vent up....i sort of become silent and do not talk with him for days.. until i shout and get this frustration out.
User :   usually before this used to happen only once a while... but i feel the frequency has increased now a days.. i find myself in this sort of situation almost everyday.
Doctor :   shouting has a negative effect
Doctor :   are you getting your menses regularly?
Doctor :   are you having these tantrums before menses?
User :   yeah.. the problem is i am the person who shouts and later i myself feel bad about it... for during the whole of these issues, my husband usually is mostly mum.

User :   yeah..... before it was sort of before menses, but now it happenes almost all the time.... and my periods are regular.
Doctor :   it could be premenstrual syndrome
User :   but now it sort of lasts the whole month.
Doctor :   i suggest that you take WOMEN'S EVENING PRIMROSE OIL

User :   any side effects.

User :   i try to do treadmill about 1/2 hour, but its not on a daily basis.
Doctor :   as it helps in stress
Doctor :   you should do it regularly
Doctor :   avoid spicy and oily foods
