User:Hi doctor
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Doctor my wife is 5 months pregnant
User:And she got scanned in 3rd month and we could find that there are 2 fibroids 10.3*9.9*8.3cms and 4.6*4.4cms
User:And when she scanned yesterday the fibroids length are 95*97cms and 45*43cms.
User:My questin is does the fibroid increased or decreased?
Doctor:Fibroid can be affected by pregnancy and similarly
User:Is it decreased?
Doctor:presence of fibroid can influence pregnancy.
Doctor:Based on the scan it seems the fibroid has reduced in size.
Doctor:Whatever is the influence, there are many reports where women have gone to have safe pregnancy and deliver child without any problem.
Doctor:So you need not be worried.
User:In the scan report amniotic fluid index is 2.1. Y
User:How to increase this
Doctor:The fluid index appears low.
Doctor:There are no medical drugs available as such to increase the fluid level.
Doctor:If needed amnio fluid infusion or injection of fluid through amniocentesis may be done.
Doctor:However as these procedure are associated with some adverse effects, just increase fluid consumption is what I would suggest you.
Doctor:Are you following?
User:Reort says that EFBW 137gms. Does the baby in good condition?
Doctor:May I know the week of gestation mentioned in the scan?
User:What kind of intake shec
User:What kind of intake does u prefer
User:Approximate gestationak age 16 wks +
Doctor:At 16 weeks weight of fetus is around 100gms
Doctor:So the weight seems normal.
User:What do u suggest to intake to increase fluid?
Doctor:Based on the reports, I do not find any condition to restrict any diet.
Doctor:She can have all kind of diet.
Doctor:It is also important that she drinks plenty of water and fluids to improve amniotic fluid index.
User:What kind of liquids she can take to increase fluid
Doctor:Water or any other fruit juice.
Doctor:There is no particular fluid or diet or medicines to increase fluid.
Doctor:Hope it is clear to you.
User:Foetal cardiac rate 140 b/min. Is the heart is normal?
Doctor:It is normal.
User:Would u give tips for a normal delivery?
Doctor:The chances of normal delivery is entirely based on her clinical condition during her last stage of pregnancy.
Doctor:This condition can change very much despite any practice now.
Doctor:However to help her keep her condition better during the last stage, we suggest her eating healthy food.
Doctor:No food restriction.
Doctor:Drinking lot of water.
User:Hi this is XXXXXXX
Doctor:Were you doing the chat since the beginning or was it your husband?
Doctor:I shall repeat what I said if you were not there from the beginning.
User:My question is there wont be any problem till 7 months
Doctor:All your reports except for low amniotic fluid index is a concern to me.
Doctor:However as I said in the beginning there are no safe specific treatment for this condition except for increased fluid consumption and regular follow-up with your gynecologist.
Doctor:Specific treatment for low amniotic fluid is amnnio fluid infusion which is done through amniocentesis.
Doctor:But as this is a riskier procedure, it is done only in limited cases where there is severe risks.
Doctor:From your reports your baby seems to be growing well.
User:Thank you so much for ur valuable time
Doctor:So we just need to be monitoring closely.
Doctor:Your obstetrician can do that.
Doctor:Hope it is clear to you.
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:No sir thanks
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor:Bye for now.
