User:we had an Ultra sound scan last week
User:the gync said there is a partial block in babys urine flow
User:and she says it need to be treated when baby is born
User:is it serious
User:is there anything else I need to take care of now
Doctor:It is difficult to predict what could be causing the urine block on an ultrasound now
Doctor:or for that matter any other test.
Doctor:Probably there can be a stricture or underdeveloped urethra.
User:will it lead to any kidney related ailments
Doctor:If any such congenital defects are found, about 1 or 2% chances that there could be other defects found.
Doctor:So I would say, what is found on the scan is most likely not a serious problem and can be rectified.
Doctor:However we need to wait and check the baby after delivery.
