User:HI doctor. I am 8 weeks pregnent. I had a slight bleeding during my 6th week of pregnancy. I visited my doctor an she asked me totake a scan , as per teh scan report my baby is normal and heart beat is also normal. but they had asked for another follow up scan during my 8th week tat is on the 60th day. I am really afriad is there any problem? whythey had asked me totake another scan. i am so confused.
Doctor:as per your scan, if the heart rate is ok, then there is no need to worry
User:ohhh ok thank you so much doctor. But they had asked me to be in bed rest for 2 weeks that is until this week
Doctor:your doctors might just want a follow up, just to see everything is normal, again, since you had a bleeding recently
Doctor:yes, that is since you had a bleeding
Doctor:it is a normal precaution
Doctor:but, it is also, to make sure that there is no laxity in the cervix , and there is no chances of recurrent bleeding
User:ok thank you doctor.
Doctor:You are welcome
User:but after that i did not had any bleeding.
Doctor:that is good
User:she had given me some progestron tablets as my progestron content is low.
User:te tablet name is Microprogestra 100 mg
Doctor:i understand, the hormone is needed to make sure pregnancy continues without any issues
Doctor:low levels of progesterone can cause miscarriages
Doctor:so , , it is commonly given to women with lower levels of progesterone
Doctor:did your doctor check the blood levels ?
Doctor:Did you have severe morning sickness ?
User:during my 45th day they ad assked to to take blood and urine test as i had bleeding they just asked me to check only my scan
User:during my 60th day that is on 9th friday i have to check my bloodlevel
User:morning sickness yes i do have it. Some time feel so irritating that i am getting so much angry
Doctor:presence of severe morning sickness, is sometimes a good indicator of good hormone levels
Doctor:but, in case, there are issues like bleeding, etc, then checking of blood levels and support with hormones are prescribed
User:ohhh i do have the sort of vomiting sensation and also bitterness in my mouth .
Doctor:that is normal
User:is bitterness also normal?
Doctor:yes, it is due to acid reflux
User:ohhhh and forpast two days i have ulcer in my mouth
Doctor:using ginger supplements can help to reduce such symptoms
User:is it due to heat or intaking of tablets?
Doctor:yes, recurrent vomiting and stress can cause erosions in the mouth,
Doctor:no , its not related to tablets
User:ohhh ok doctor. stress is one of the thing i dont know how to over come it.
User:i have never vomited till now just the sensation i have
Doctor:you need to relax and do XXXXXXX breathing exercises
User:as this is my 8th week do i hve any feels in my abdomen? I mean do know the growth of the baby or any feelings that baby is inside?
Doctor:doing proper yogas, and walking for 10 -20 mins at a slow pace is also good
User:hmmm ok doctor.
Doctor:the morning sickness, is the main sign
Doctor:you will not feel any movements, since the embryo is very small, just a few cms
User:ok. thanks doctor. How abt travelling in bike?
Doctor:going slowly is always advisible , and avoiding jerks on the humps, is always
Doctor:driving bikes after 12 - 16 weeks is not advised

User:one min doctor i shall tell u
User:RTOV: 4.3*2.3*2.0 cm
User:LTVO: 4.1*2.0*2.0 cm
User:as on 17.1.2012
Doctor:these are the measurements of the ovaries
Doctor:I mean the cysts within the ovaries, should be large, say more than 2 cm each
Doctor:and these are given in separate detailed measurements
User:hmmmm. in the scan report they have given like this as RTOV: big polycyctics measuring 4.3*2.3*2.0 cm
User:LTVO: big polycyctics measuring 4.1*2.0*2.0 cm
Doctor:Has your Gynae , informed about them
